- The Constitutional Court has agreed to hear former president Jacob Zuma’s application to have the order against him rescinded. I’m always intrigued by Political Analysts views or narrative because in hindsight they are subjected to how the political landscape unfold. Intellectual tern to perceive probability based on how much information you know to predict an out come however it doesn’t dictate how things will unfold. Unfortunately we don’t go back to review their views in an effort to dissolve propaganda narrative or any other agenda in that regards.
This is unprecedented case. How do you make representations mitigating your sentence before judgement, that is really unusual approach. Everyone in the Zuma case is learning new things, he is a true leader. We need to test the judiciary processes to the letter even if that irritates some judges and the media.
Why is Zuma given special treatment? If this were a 'normal' citizen the sentence wouldve been swift and jail time would be well underway.......
BS! Zuma committed a criminal offense by not obeying the courts. He is above the law.
Never head a more tortuous argument that this presented here! Zuma was sentenced to jail for contempt, which is a criminal offence which has nothing to do with civil matters! There are therefore no grounds for any further court actions by Zuma, to be heard ANYWHERE and the CC and any other court appealed to, should come straight out with a clear statement to this effect!
