Imo you should try Cliodna solo. That's where you may want to level the 1, especially if you're going against a god with a knock up, so you'll be using it a lot. plus even if you're behind as Cliodna, you can just ult to insta clear lane with no issues.

at 22:50 when the cupid dashed towards your wall, casting the one would've maybe killed him, leaving you to stay in the wall and try dashing/ulting someone else. I agree with you about how the 1 is very exploitable by other players however, it seems like casting it while in a wall doesn't prevent you from performing other actions. not trying to sound toxic, but if you ult in a wall it creates a proximity ult that wont fully open until an enemy passes, so in theory if you ult in a wall while also dashing out to attack an enemy God, the rift should open while also having two more charges. I feel like she's a different flavour of Tsukuyomi in that she can apply solid zone control with her ult particularly in jungle choke points. The 1 getting cancelled...yep it also happens in lower level CC heavy comps but you can insta cancel it for a solid AA reset. Plus the wall variant is solid if not a bit low on the range side. I personally avoid building Arondight because it gives away that you're setting traps which means a smart enemy knows you're chilling in a wall nearby. Then again you can use it to reveal people practically for free. The thing I love about her(although it's likely because she's...strong) is that she can seamlessly switch between bombarding the enemy with spells with your mage then diving with your front frontline savaging the backline. Embrace the wall sneak midgame and build Souleater, squishies will hate you more than they already do. Overall I enjoy that she can PUNISH teams who clump up together like Qiyana or Diana in League

My personal problem with cliodna is that it feels more like a mage cause you're just spamming abilities and they take so long to cast that autos are just near impossible to make useful.
damn, mast's really good at doing the flick on her 3 even when i see pro players on cliodhna, they usually mess it up and cant flick in time or just give up entirely and cancel the dash early, but he even does it consistently on jungle camps

They mentioned in the patch show that she was designed to be really tactical. They want the player to plan ahead a lot when using her. That’s why it takes a bit of time and such to go into walls, since it’s mainly supposed to be a setup tool anyway. This is also why her ult functions as a trap when inside walls. That said, I think she will probably be good in casuals (players don’t group well and such) and on the opposite end in comp play since spl players could build comps around her lack of cc and the coordination can allow her to dump her a high damage kit more effectively (coms with a high cc team comp). Also it takes a bit longer to enter/exit walls if you aren’t walking directly forward (hold W and nothing else while the camera is forward and not moving). It can get a bit weird at exiting corners too.
Sorry if you already know this, but you can dash out of walls from anywhere in the wall, not just the edge. Think of it as you get a dash out of the wall and then an additional dash once you exit it. You can go really far really fast.
I was able to place 3 ult traps in conquest and I was able to hit enemy with all 3! I lost but who cares it was the best thing I did in smite since my penta with Nu Wa.
Cliodhna passive is procking mantle of discord (as soon as you leave the wall) so it might be better to have a void shield for some pen. Just like Fenrir does. They are both basically melee dmg dealers.
The low health thing where you can’t go into the wall under 25% health is there because she’d have an insta get out of jail card and would be absolutely unkillable. Combine it with her having an invisibility, a speed boost and a lunge that covers half the map and she’d be absolutely frustrating.
The build ive been using that is working has been Bumba's Spear / Crusher / Soul Eater / Jotunn's Wrath / Hydra's Lament / Brawler's Beat Stick and if the game goes on long enough sell Bunba's for Heartseaker.
So much things to talk about. 1st that tyr wanted every inch of your soul that whole game. 2nd your mid fight jukes in between abilities is unmatched. 3rd Morgan had 6k dmg in 40 minutes fucking a 4th 26-2 is absolute performance. 8 kills less then the entire enemy team. gg
This may be a weird idea but I think this could work. You know how you exit your passive with your e. Let’s make it if you e into a wall you auto go in and don’t have to wait. It gives the upside of using it as an escape and you can use it to go Aggro and just walk into it slowly for a bank.
I wish her 1 was a cripple + slow as it ticks into last hit stun similar to cronos 3. It would fit thematically like her scream is progressively scaring you until you're petrified with fear. I would give up some cd on the ult for the actual cc. This would give her some actual team value other than pure damage and could still be counter played with an intterupt.

I haven’t watched the video yet, and I plan on it, but I wanted to report on one of your earlier Heim videos about double stacking Devos and Trans. It feels really slow as far as build up but once both are stacked, you pump out damage. I went Qins (not sure what I wanted next) because I had the gold for it, then went Dominance and shred through folks. Probably would have ended with Atalantas but anyways. Thanks for the content!
I finally got to try chleo last night and I see what he means about the passive being buggy. Internet was actually solid so it was the game having trouble getting me in and out of walls
I think if the deafen effect was like triple the length nobody would complain. Its just a cool effect that doesn't really matter at all in its current state.
I think maybe the silence on the 1 should apply on the second hit, of it was in the first hit, maybe in a lucky match a cleo could silence an entire team inside a wall But well it should silence for a little bit and then when you hit the final hit it should silence for longer.
The easiest way to think about her passive is that you can't have an angle going into the wall. For example, think about how Ama dash works with walls, if you dash at enough of an angle, you slide along it and continue forward. Not enough of an angle, and you basically dead stop. Same thing with Cliodhna passive, gotta walk into a wall basically head on, otherwise you'll keep sliding along it. That's really stupid though, and feels like shit because you're walking rather than dashing, so hopefully HiRez changes it (I won't hold out hope lol)
Agreed, it is a bit rough. Considering the coding gymnastics they had to pull to even get this mechanic working though, and how much the game is spaghetti code to begin with, I doubt it'll be smoothed out any time soon.
I dont really understand how the trip mine works but late game isnt it kinda a uncounterable ward for fire and if it doesnt proc on jungle camps could maybe use it early game and steal oracles from the other side of the map

A silence into a stun would be pretty busted. You could just lead with the 1, pop ult while they’re stunned, dash thru an AA cancel with the 3 an any squishy would be long dead

Like say you engage, you wanna silence THEN an not give em time to get away or anythin cuz you don’t have any hard CC, but you can’t, so if say you dashed in an they have a dash they just run, an you pop ult an 2 after them in an attempt to chase. Sure there’s a 25% MS steroid to the 2 an the ult slows so she still does work without it kinda, but potentially losin a kill cuz you couldn’t land 2 line abilities one of which has a delay to it just sucks
About the low health from passive I think it’s fair, cuz I more think it’s so you can’t just run away with no health an get away. Yea you lose HP, but I think THATS there so you can’t just stay there for stupid periods of time
Bruv you need to build soul eater on her, not the best for damage but since she lacks immunity in any of her abilities it helps survive the rougher fights

its gaelic, the letters rarely sound like what youre used to in traditional english, think the name sean for example. Klee-u-na is the correct way to pronounce it (another good example of an irish name not sounding how it looks is aoife, pronounced eefa)

It would kinda work as a ward of sorts but as for stealin oracles the enemy only needs to back out of range an they’ll stop takin damage

its gaelic, the letters rarely sound like what youre used to in traditional english, think the name sean for example. Klee-u-na is the correct way to pronounce it (another good example of an irish name not sounding how it looks is aoife, pronounced eefa)
