- Today I'm going to show you how I made this tilting fence for my cheap jointer-planer combo. I'll use the opportunity to remove the old knives I've been using and sharpen them with a homemade jig.

@@Paoson_Woodworking I shall! Its the screwfix Titan one. Nobody else in the UK sells that brand bit there are other machines that clearly share a heritage. I saw a couple of other people like Marius Hornberger also have a similar machine but you were the only one with plans to make my life easy!

Thanks for your video - how easy is to adjust the infeed table and the blade on this machine ? I bought one recently - the fence is twisted , infeed table needs to be aligned and probably the blade too - as I gt a bevel on the wood instead of flat surface . Now I use a table saw sled to joint wood but it will be nice if I can get the Jointer in shape - especially with a proper fence like yours

Absolute class as usual... I have the same jointer would you happen to have the plans for the fence as I wouldn’t be at your level of skill. Mine would probably resemble a road traffic accident ....
Отлично! Для хоббийных станков самое то. Штатный уж больно слабый. Я на своем первом подобную приспособу делал. Только 90 град, не регулируемую. Особо и не нужна эта регулировка. За годы пользования пригодилась 1 раз. Но мысль хоршая.

Are you still using this machine? I have the same one in different "brand" but it is the same machine. How long boards are you able to joint on it?
yes I keep using it! I think I have worked with pieces up to 2 meters long. Check this out:

Bonjour, J'ai la même machine il y a 4 ans que je l'ai et cela fait 3 ans que je me suis fait un guide comme toi. L'ancien guide n'était pas à 90° et impossible de rectifier ce qui m'a obliger de ma construire ce guide en bois. Vue que c'est la même machine le guide est à 95% identique.
