And because disney have two streaming services,hulu and d+,it makes sense that Family Guy will be on one of them.
Unfortunately Netflix cancelled BoJack Horseman prematurely and they had to wrap it up. Just like they did with Daybreak, Tuca and Bertie, and Age of Resistance and so many other fan loved series. So at this point I have lost a lot of faith in them for quality shows. Hell, I’m surprised The Witcher wasn’t canceled since they seem to get off on that yet I’m sure crap like Paradise P.D. will go on.

Crazy how much this show laid dormant in my head. Even crazier to me was realizing how much better this show was than I gave it credit for. You say underrated and I would totally agree. With all those short-lived animations on Comedy Central, this very well might be one of their best ones. And I can't help but keep comparing it to Drawn Together. Ugly Americans was the Bojack Horseman-type of show feeling more put together and thought out. Where as Drawn Together was more the Big Mouth kind being more about shock value and being topical. The pure insanity of a show like Drawn Together is fun for the time, but it's shows like Ugly Americans that stick with you. Shoutouts to the episode "The Manbird" from season 1. Was one of my favorites.

Ok, this retrospective is over two years old, but I have to comment anyway. I love this show, especially cause of the beautiful art style and the characters you mentioned. It really was ahead of it's time. Would love to see at least a comic book come out, although most the voice acting was crucial to the appeal of the characters.

Someone gave this to me on some burned DVDs after I went cave diving with them in Mexico. I’ll always be grateful for that. I grew up in a place without much Tv, and it was awesome to finally see things that were always out of my reach before. My favourite part? Mark is actually a pretty decent guy. Most adult animated heroes are anti-heroes at best. Him being kind, fastidious, and a social worker who wanted to be that in a cruel world made it stand out from animated shows even today.
A few months late but agreed, loved Mark as a main character. His plain/simple look and calm/kind demeanor really paired well with the many wild side characters they ran into. A little fanservice never hurt as well since he was a ladies man lol. When kindness is sexy, def a dream for lots of guys haha

I started thinking about it a lot now that the actor who voiced Mark Lily is voicing Kiteman in the Harley Quinn animated series.
I started a spec script for this show!!! Its called "A Clockwork Boneraper" and its about Twain having a kinky new girlfriend who might be a pimp. Callie and Leonard use Mark's class to make money, Grimes and Mark try to expose the girlfriend, while Randall shows Twain the swingers life!!

I really like a lot of Mark's patients. They bring a lot to the show. I especially love Doug and The Big Brain. As a funny bit of information I have to say that in Latin American Spanish the same guy who dubs Goku and many of Mark Ruffalo's movies (including the MCU movies) also does Big Brain's voice, it's so funny
It's videos like this that makes possibilities for a comeback for shows. Everytime they bring back shows they just get cancelled. But for animated adult shows have a better chance I feel. I love this show, I miss it so much. The first season has been re-running on the Pluto TV app, and I bought season 2 on Amazon so I could watch it, I never got to see season 2. It was good. I wish the show could come back. I love that it's 2020 and it's still funny, and there's so much that's applicable to the current times, you'd never guess it was this old already.

They have SO MANY great references. Sure, I don’t care much for reality TV shiz, but they parodied it right. It’s a literal crime that this show isn’t super popular :(

The zombie was always my favorite character humping his way a round and being the lazy room mate with a attitude. All the characters have great personalities not many shows touching up on monsters and mystical creatures getting into mischief in every day life problems. This show is underrated and needs more but it needs to keep it’s formula. Nowadays politics, environment, social-economics this show has LOTS of material to go on but they need to keep it to the original format.

loved this show so much. It's theme of fitting in and assimilating in a complex and incomprehensible world, coupled with the fact that the characters usually ended up fitting in because of not despite their weirdness was touching.
I loved it from Italy, no one knows it and it's such a pity. Both the idea, the style, the characters were amazing. I truly think that is has much more to tell if they will ever continue it, fingers crossed. After Futurama, Venture Bros etc. anything can happen.
I remember watching episodes on CC back in 2010 and was so fascinated by the vibe . I was a kid so I didn’t understand much of the jokes but now this is in my top 3 comedy cartons , I even think it’s better than Rick and Morty . I hope they pick this show up again in the future
I liked the Ugly Americans game personally. Found it to be quite fun as a big twin stick shooter fan and the actual story/cutscenes were great to watch. Honestly, most of Comedy Centrals shows in general, let alone animated ones, usually had difficulty finding an audience outside it's big hitters.
Late to the party. Ugly Americans first aired in 2010. The internet has well been established. Adult animation to. It is a criminally underrated show but animated cartoons were competitive back then. All three Seth Macfarlane shows were already on. Futurama was still poppin'. China IL was on it's second season. Archer. King of the Hill was still running. The Venture Bros. was becoming something Spectacular. All of these and more came out way before Ugly Americans by at LEAST 2 years. It came down to bad marketing and having it be on Comedy Central. Comedy Central put out some amazing animated shows in the past. Only 3 of them stuck around longer than a few years. Dr. Katz, Futurama and, of course, South Park. Most shows lasted a year or 2 at most. They were like MTV or the WB when it came to animated shows. Good Ideas went to die there and it's always bad marketing, either by the company or the show creators themselves, or the the higher ups expecting the show to be South Park or Family Guy levels of popularity in a fuckin' month. Despicable. Good show. Great show. But where it was it never stood a chance. : (

The show was really clever, funny and with a lot of heart

I loved it from Italy, no one knows it and it's such a pity. Both the idea, the style, the characters were amazing.
I truly think that is has much more to tell if they will ever continue it, fingers crossed. After Futurama, Venture Bros etc. anything can happen.
It ended well enough. I was a big fan but if they gave it another run I'd be super into it.
This show was great. It comes out of that 2010 time when Obama was new and everything felt really hopeful. I was really sad when it got cancelled.

I remember watching episodes on CC back in 2010 and was so fascinated by the vibe . I was a kid so I didn’t understand much of the jokes but now this is in my top 3 comedy cartons , I even think it’s better than Rick and Morty . I hope they pick this show up again in the future

I liked the Ugly Americans game personally. Found it to be quite fun as a big twin stick shooter fan and the actual story/cutscenes were great to watch. Honestly, most of Comedy Centrals shows in general, let alone animated ones, usually had difficulty finding an audience outside it's big hitters.
Late to the party. Ugly Americans first aired in 2010. The internet has well been established. Adult animation to.
It is a criminally underrated show but animated cartoons were competitive back then.
All three Seth Macfarlane shows were already on. Futurama was still poppin'. China IL was on it's second season.
Archer. King of the Hill was still running. The Venture Bros. was becoming something Spectacular.
All of these and more came out way before Ugly Americans by at LEAST 2 years.
It came down to bad marketing and having it be on Comedy Central. Comedy Central put out some amazing animated shows in the past.
Only 3 of them stuck around longer than a few years. Dr. Katz, Futurama and, of course, South Park. Most shows lasted a year or 2 at most.
They were like MTV or the WB when it came to animated shows. Good Ideas went to die there and it's always bad marketing, either by the company
or the show creators themselves, or the the higher ups expecting the show to be South Park or Family Guy levels of popularity in a fuckin' month. Despicable.
Good show. Great show. But where it was it never stood a chance. : (
