    Why do you not have 50K+ subscribers?! You travel to and showcase some of the more remote, wild, and beautiful places in the American West. Your knowledge of Indian culture, geology, and the finer points of SUV RVing, what used to be called car camping, offers so much of interest. As well, your straight forward, low key delivery is appealing and refreshing. Thanks for making these videos and taking us along on parts of your journeys and I hope that other people discover what you do and help you continue to do it.

    Appreciate all the effort it takes to leave the camera to increase the “you are there” feeling as you climb away and realize all the back tracking and RE climbing you do for us watching…great job.

    Aw man I'm a sucker for geological oddities...loved the formation at your campsite at the beginning, and the surreal features of the mountain you climbed. The views from atop both were also captivating. Oh, and I've been wanting to say, really been enjoying the interesting variety of music tastefully worked in lately...brings a nice added dimension & mood. Terrific episode, thank you!

      I am too! And Utah is full of 'em. Glad you like the music. Finding music for the videos is my least favorite part of the entire video creation process. I hate it. So basically I've been branching out because I've run out of other songs to use! Thanks for watching.

    Another great campsite at the beginning. Being able to hike to a peak from where you camped sounds excellent. Really interesting finding those kinds of fossils in such an arid environment. Wow, I've never even seen pictures of the weirdest in the west mountain. Thanks for the gems as always!

    I love geology, I've learned about volcanic uplifting, time lines, the rise & fall of mountains, Geometric Folds, but I want to know about that white mountain, never seen anything like it, maybe some kind of water formations, wow, love your videos, you are so different from other TH-camrs that go to the same places as everyone else, (Zion, Yosemite, Grand Canyon, seen them a hundred times, of course they are beautiful, nice to see different landscapes without all the people as well) thanks for sharing!

    Sometimes you use walking sticks. Other times not. Explain?

    • @SUVRVing
      @SUVRVing  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I agree, western Utah is a gem. I used to use the trekking poles a lot. I've found that they help keep some of the pressure and jarring off of the knees. But it's hard to use them when I'm also filming and holding a selfie stick and fiddling with a tripod, so I don't usually take them when I'm making videos.

      not endorsing, just got curious,
      Other thought try local mineral club www & see if they recommend anything.
      peterson guides are usually hard to beat for useful knowledge on subject X.
      they are $$ (but, hey that's relative). Ideally farming used book stores (support Local!!!) for the nuggets that are available seems a good start. The weird thing is durn google (if you have service) will probably suffice for most topics of interest. download pdf maps, guides etc. for out of service use & bingo
