Pinellas Police Department is what all Police Departments should strive to be. I have total respect for this Police Department. It can't be easy to inform the public of the criminal actions of people they hired to serve and protect the public. Thank you for putting the people you serve above criminals in a police uniform.
If Sheriff Gualtieri said there was a follow up investigation and it was determined that no children suffered any harm because of these lies then that is what it was. Regardless of whether you WANT to believe that children were hurt.
Is there any type of system in place that will keep that (former) officer from receiving ANY benefits from his employment (such as the "police union" backing him, vacation time due to him, pension money, etc.)?
How did he sleep at night, knowing that children could be in serious danger and he never even checked on them.😳😡 The kids from 2018, but they still ha e to go back years. I pray that all Those kids were ok and they had an angel watching over them, especially since this jackass was not. Man even if he got desensitized that quickly he should have contacted his supervisors if that was the case so someone else could take over. I could go on and on, at least the supervisors were able to catch this guy and he will go to prison and have a felony on his record. Info there are more cps workers out there just like him or worse. There are a few going to prison for manslaughter and murder for leaving children in an abusive home and they were killed by their parent/parents.😡 There is seriously something wrong with those people.

Some of you guys are never satisfied. Would you rather he cover up misconduct and not fire substandard employees? Also, an anomaly means that the event is unusual, it in no way condones the behavior. This sheriff is the most transparent elected official I've ever seen.

CPI's are civilian. As such, they don't have any association with FOP or PBA "backing them" so to speak.
