    Took me going back and doing it five or six times before I actually figured out all of the steps but in the end I developed a very strange random Splash pattern and the God's honest truth is it was just fun uploading it and it made some really cool masks and also made some really cool leggings so again you have taught me something amazing and I do greatly appreciate it hoping you're doing well.

      Yeah, I saw them appearing more in the next few weeks... I usually don't mind them, just thunders is fine... But the direct hit was sooo scary !!

    This was great thank you! I am new to designing. I’m using affinity but hope I can transfer some of those designs over to my program. Have you used it? Thanks for the creative inspiration! And I’d love to hear more about your background snd growing up. I bet the flashbacks were scary 😧

    • @MeyTribe
      @MeyTribe  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've never used Affinity, though i do think I will try it soon, whenever I have some time.
      Ammmm Flashacks are not from my childhood, they are mostly from the Army, and that is a topic I will not be talking about here, as it's not very legal to discuss missions on an open channel like TH-cam...
      My childhood is also something I am trying to stay away from talking about in order to respect the people who were a part of it and not look too accusing....

    The biggest problem with patterns on RB is tagging right for people to find, because no one with search Blue paint pattern No23 :)

    • @MeyTribe
      @MeyTribe  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      For sure!! Though the pattern should be named after either the design (Floral red pattern) or after the style (Vintage pattern)
      It's also why I really love using Pinterest- as you can just tag things like "Modern home decor styling" and stuff like that.
      (Or go by feeling? Like "Optimistic spring pattern"??)
      I also have found that more patterns are popular via Society6.

    I love this, but for some reason I don't get the effect option. I don't have the Canva pro, could it be that? In love with all your tutorials. Thank you Mey :)

    • @MeyTribe
      @MeyTribe  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That could be it. There are so many more options with canva pro... I think that when you're thinking about getting it, it might be a tough call. But once you have Canva Pro it's like a whole new world and it sort of becomes your go-to tool for everything !

    • @MeyTribe
      @MeyTribe  ปีที่แล้ว

      This video is very old. Canva changed their interface about 3 times since it was filmed, changing the location of the effects all the time. Sorry.

    Hi Mey, i'm wondering about Creative Fabrica & Canva, is there any chance that you could do a video on exactly what people can get (for free), meaning what is available to use on both of these programs, that is free, i'm sure that for many people just starting out won't be able to afford even $29.00 a month, i know that i couldn't, but i'd still like the freedom to be able to design as much as possible,. This is very important to me, so please answer this for me, it will be very much appreciated, thanks a bunch.

      And I say this with all my heart - no one is forced to watch my videos, and they are free… if you don’t like them, for any reason/ that’s completely fine ❤️ you don’t have to watch :)
