This was a question and topic, that for many years now was not sufficiently answered, Pir saqib Shaami sahib have truly done justice to this matter!
I for one, previously had many doubts and contention's in the fact of there being so many sects, and also used to ask the question, why should we not call our selves Muslim?
As mola Ali (karamallahu wajhul kareem) said,

I mean clearly he isn't. What kind of guy does takfir on people like Hakeem ul Ummah Ashraf Ali Thanwi, Maulana Mehmmod Madani, and all of these great scholars. It is my request that you read about these scholars. These are the true sher of our times. These are the real and great personalities of the Ahlul-Sunnah Wal Ja'mah. You clearly have been misinformed if you believe that Ahmed Raza Khan has contributed to islam in the more than the last 300 years. Aside from these scholars you have the likes of Imam Shamil who has stopped the Russians from invading their Islamic State. So don't you dare say he has contributed to islam more than any of these great scholars.

If a person has committed kufr he should be condemned. If imam Ahmed raza wouldn't have termed them kafir inspite of being aware of their kufr he would be answerable in court of Allah and I would like to remind you his fatwa has been backed by 35 ulemas of harmain sharifain and all objections raised on hussamul harmain have been answered by Ahmed raza followers. And regarding the work of Ahmed Raza : in today's world no one can match the work done by maulana amjad ali (his khalifah).then leave aside imam Ahmed raza. And only directions are enough for intelligent people
