My dad used to teach me some Navajo teachings and I didn't really know why he passed when I was 12. I'm white and I was my dad was white, but I'm adopted. My mother they said looked Native American but that's all I know. Anyway when I'm standing next to a Navajo person I can tell, and I will always say are you Navajo? They usually look surprised and say yes and how did you know, and I say well sometimes I can just feel it. Lately I've been connecting with my Consciousness and with that is infinite wisdom and from the other side and here. Good things are coming to humanity...❤✌🏻

You sense who you are and where you are from. There is no piece of paper or spelling that will ever help you. Listen to your heart ;).. that is what your Mother and Father gave you and that is all you need.

In listening to you I feel connection with my deceased mother. Many years ago she spent her summers teaching English in the Navajo Nation. She loved your culture and teachings. In listening to you I am gaining insight into her love of your culture and wisdom. She was given a beautiful wool blanket that one of my sisters has. I remember that she had two beautiful dolls that were given to her and a miniature female hogan. She displayed them proudly in her home. I wish she would have lived longer...she passed when I was still a child. Her name was Faith Rundus.

I live in the Mancos Valley in SW Colorado.. As a young boy I was always fascinated by the culture of the Dine'.. I tried and tried to be friends with many native people, but was always treated with indifference because I am white. Wally is like the wise grandfather I never had.

@JoeBlow-k8p ... I know .. Just think though, how the land could have been taken over by people who decided not to allow a single native to remain alive .. That has happened elsewhere in the world .. And there could have not even been any reserved land left behind under other circumstances... Many things could have been worse... Technology and convenience being a couple of those things... And I always wonder who the Indian took the land from.... That is always in the back of my mind ... I guess these questions arise to me, when I come across someone feeling sorry for themself, and yet far removed from the tragedy and despair that their forefathers faced .... I continue to wonder yet today, why many "native" people continue to vote for money and favors and benefits and free things that socialists give them... yet weep because they do not feel free any longer and are "forced to walk in both worlds" .... It just makes me wonder about the divided path and forked tongues of people on both sides of these old tired issues. I get you. I understand.

I love these teachings. I am a little over half American Indian, and the rest is Spaniard, which is pretty common for the part of New Mexico where my Grandmother's family lived. It was an area where the Spaniard Soldiers came and raped a lot of the Indian women and killed the men. We tried to research our family tree, and my uncle went to the reservation to get information, but he was turned away and told that since we weren't 100% American Indian, we were not welcome there. 😢

This is the best advice I've heard on this channel. Your mind and body should be your first temple of refuge but you need a second temple for just you and the higher power or whatever you call it. The home should be a place of harmony and safety. A lot of our modern-day problems start in the house. I love the ash analogy. My mom used to say "are you the fire or the ashes?". That's a Scandinavian thing. It's beautiful to see it other places.

    A'hee'hee Wally & Shane.
In my experience i have Diné College incredibly helpful to understanding cultural knowledge and beliefs. The instructors there assisted me in addressing how my own attitudes and beliefs perpetuated colonization. The Diné instructors taught the same things my grandfather tried to instill in me, but i was so ignorant. It wasnt until he was gone, that i had realized what he was trying to tell me. I am forever grateful for Diné College and your teachings here.
    Once again a'hee'hee.

In the city, we move into houses and apartments that have been occupied by many others. You need to do a cleansing before you move in. In my apartment I get visits from people who died there. Not in my apartment but in the building. There's a woman who appears in my hallway. A friend came to visit and asked me, who's the lady in the hallway? I said, you see her too? She said, five times now.
The truth is spirits are all around us, all the time. You invite good spirits or wicked ones, with your words and actions. Native teachings are important because they've always understood the spirit world. It isn't a mystery to them. Whereas we struggle to comprehend.
Best wishes to all. Respect the spirits. Remember they are all around you, and some are very helpful. Others are mischievous. Be careful in all things, everything is connected. We are connected. Blessings to all 🌹

❤🙏Everyone Needs A Sacred Space - Native American (Navajo) Teaching.
100% we all do. When you your Spirit finds it you do realise how sacred and holy your home is. I feel blessed my spirit found/recognised its Hogan. Interesting when that reality hit in 1989 and on the Gailtalbahn when I first saw the Polinik after a quarter of a century. It was like the Maria Schnee Chapel bell sounding through my soul, reinvading my heart. The train was travelling from the east heading to the west.
I some 105 days I will be in my Sacred Space. Under the Polinik im the village of Mauthen.
Thank you. Your teaching has put my thoughts. One day if my plans happen for my personal Hogan in my spirit place - I would be honoured for you to visit if you chose to travel from your sacred space.

I feel my home is very peaceful sometimes when I listen to celebrities I don't feel they are grounded enough, assuming their upbringing in the entertainment industry must of been hard being in the spotlight their whole lives. I hope they find some peace to know they are loved exactly the way they are.. their knowledge helps us to learn from their mistakes. I can not imagine having to share their lives with the world. Prayers 🙏 for all of us you are right we don't always listen. 😢

I think a big problem in the modern world is the lack of anything sacred. Parts of society want to "deconstruct" everything. I think it started among academics in Paris many decades ago.

Religion pollutes anything sacred or spiritual. That's a big problem.
