Not really. It only happens to people who willingly choose to live in high risk tornado areas; it literally happens every year. By contrast, no one in NYC or Los Angeles has to worry about this.

Yes I’m very fortunate the same thing happened to me. Very thankful it didn’t go through a place like Owensboro though. My condolences to anyone who lost anyone they knew during the storms
My parents were from Owensboro. I lived there for many years myself. There's a reason this is happening and it has nothing to do with Guns, God and Babies. This is tragic and I'm very sorry to see this happening to you or anyone else.
When I look at those destroyed houses, I realize that each of those is somebody's home, where their hearts were, and still are. I hope that people in your area urge increased funding for FEMA so that when people in other areas need assistance it is there as well. Better storm warnings, perhaps improved infrastructure. There is a lot of improvements that can help people. It seems as though a lot of people want help when they need it, but forget there are needs that other people have. Needs. I am reminded of the people of Puerto Rico at the time of the devastating hurricane in 2017. I am not without sympathy for people who experience devastating loss. This is horrific, to be sure, but the damage in Jarrell, TX in 1997 was worse. Also, the Bridge Creek/Moore one in 1999 was about as bad. Search those and you’ll see the worst tornadoes ever.
I hope that the houses they build there aren't these flimsy houses like the one I live in. These newer houses can be blown over by the big bad wolf. The moore tornado was a great example of it. We need sturdier shelters to keep this from happening.

Tornadoes are rare everywhere, except USA and like Bangladesh I think....BUt did you know with that area of eastern Europe and Russia, they are some of the places most prone to horrible tornado outbreaks that produce f5 tornadoes?!...After the eastern usa and after in and around bangladesh south of himilayas where cold are meets tropical air, I think Russia ranks 3rd in terms of f5 tornadoes....maybe not 3rd in overall tornadoes, lots of places get f0, f1, f2....a lot more than russia, like britain might get more tornadoes on average than russia but I think the odds of a big tornado in UK is nearly impossible, not in Russia... but I think over the past 1000 years russia has had more f5 tornadoes than any country other than america and that area of southeasternish asia. Im serious.....Do not doubt the super cell storms that can develop in the flat areas from europe to the ural mountains! Look, an f5 tornado in russia with other big tornadoes in outbreak more likely then a meteor flying over a city, almost getting too close and killing lots, but still doing that amount of damage...you had the meteor already 7 years ago...I for real when say f5 a lot more likely than that, definately f4...unfortunately too your tornado alley can produce some of the worst, its just rare, but also sad it in more populated areas of country and not in siberia!

So their gods other than Allah, whom they invoked, profited them naught when there came the Command of your Lord, nor did they (false deities) add aught to them except destruction. Such is the Seizure of your Lord when He seizes the (population of) the towns while they are doing wrong (polytheism). And We seized them with extreme poverty and loss in health (with calamities) so that they might humble themselves (believe with humility). So when Our Torment reached them, why then did they not humble themselves (believe with humility)? I hope that people in your area urge increased funding for FEMA so that when people in other areas need assistance it is there as well. Better storm warnings, perhaps improved infrastructure. There is a lot of improvements that can help people. It seems as though a lot of people want help when they need it, but forget there are needs that other people have. Needs. I am reminded of the people of Puerto Rico at the time of the devastating hurricane in 2017. I am not without sympathy for people who experience devastating loss. On the day my second daughter was born our house burned down. We lost everything. There was not fire assistance in our area.

Ну и где ты живёшь что у тебя торнадо в России убило девочку

We wronged them not, but they wronged themselves. So their gods other than Allah, whom they invoked, profited them naught when there came the Command of your Lord, nor did they (false deities) add aught to them except destruction.

My lil sis lives in Joplin MS. She survived the 2011 F5 that tore right through her neighborhood! Her house was in the center of the track! As this was going on last night I cried knowing what these poor people are going through! My prayers go out to all affected by this outbreak!
There’s no F5. It’s EF5.

This Australian garden-variety knockabout bloke, and I'm sure every Aussie is horrified appalled sad & are thinking of the immeasurable loss hurt & grief in Kentucky, and just want to hug you all. We get cyclones but this is beyond belief!?.
Hope survivors are found to help ease the misery & give rescuers & responders & all decent folk something to be thankful for out of this atrocious disaster.
Thinking of you Kentucky. May God keep those souls lost there in bluegrass country.
From Buderim, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia.
From a fellow Queenslander, just down the road in Brissy, thankyou for your beautiful words to all the people in Kentucky. As Aussies we get our share of natural disasters but even Cyclone Tracey paled against this monstrous Armageddon magnitude tornado. I couldn't believe the footage....😳😔🙏🕊🙏
Isaiah 29:6 Thou shalt be visited of the Lord of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flames of devouring fire.
My love and sympathy goes out to all my Ky brethren. I was raised in Greenup County, and it breaks my heart to see my beautiful home state traumatized like this. 😔💔
I know the devastation, bewilderment and pain. I was in the ones that ripped through Putnam county in March 2020. My neighborhood and surrounding areas were just about flattened with an F4. The storms actually extended from Davidson county to just beyond Putnam. We lost around 28 citizens. Took most of us around 6 months to rebuild after squeezing whatever we could out of our respective insurance providers. Anyway, my deepest sympathies to everyone effected by this awful storm. It went over our heads as well but we were lucky this time. I hope you folks will be getting plenty of help in the days coming. We did in March 2020, and were very fortunate for all the volunteers. God bless you all.
Such a tragedy, especially at a time like this, prayers for everyone affected, all the way from the Pacific Northwest, and may those that perished, R.I.P,!

It's almost unfathomable to imagine that this actually occurred and took so many lives during the holidays and time that's meant for good fortune, family, and memories. Now the loss of life and survivors left with absolutely nothing!
Unbelievable. My heart goes out to Kentucky. What's up with the music, though? This isn't about entertainment. Silence is more respectful.
Prayers and tears. Stay strong beautiful people, you will get through this!
Yes tears from laughing so hard at these delusional people thinking that prayers actually do something. hahahahaha
@@rudyrodriguez9935 Yet you feel the need to comment because you can’t move on from something you can’t possibly grasp. You’ll know one day. Hopefully before it’s too late.
Yes tears and prayers in the moment that is all we can do, until we give what we can to those who help those in need. I hear you and pray and cry with you. And thank you for praying and crying with me.
@@rudyrodriguez9935 I don't think you need to concern yourself so much about our delusions as to worry about what is wrong with you that you can only find something to laugh about in this situation. Right now, you offer less than zero for sure. Concern for nothing but your own jollies?
Praying is full of jokes. This is why I see people as butt of the joke
I hope these folks are able to recover from this tragedy. Imagine losing everything you have. Imagine losing a loved one to mother nature, something more powerful than us all. It blows my mind that this happened in DECEMBER. Not typically a month you’d see a tornado outbreak. That is not normal.
I guess climate change is real after all. Horrific.
China just came out saying they have been geoengineering for quite a while now. Not a stretch to think it also happens in the US. Prior to 1995 had anyone ever heard of tornadoes in December? LOL NO.
@@lastofthebest5102 You can thank BP, ExxonMobil and all the other fossil fuel companies, as we do geoengineering since we went into the industrial revolution. And all the corrupt politicians that stuff their bags with fossil fuel money. And all the voters who keep those people in power. And all those deniers who will escalate this further by spreading bullshit like yours. And all those who know what's going on, but still do fuck all to change anything. And also thank the coming global collapse that will make recovery from those disasters practically impossible, while everything drifts further and further into chaos. Fun times ahead.
tulsa news said last year, we had 3 inches of snow on the ground....today, 70+ degrees.
God’s power indeed! no mother nature or climate change. Repent and turn from our wicked ways for our Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon.
This event is not normal. Tornados in December at night are not normal folks.
Rain in December in ontario is not normal either
not normal in that area, in december... -20 degrees in oklahoma and texas in february, not normal, either...(not trying to make either event as minial, both were odd..)
Devastating, heartbreaking, sad.The town looked totally torn apart. I pray that it can rebuild to serve the folks. Lets pray for families who have lost loved ones or injured.
Nah, sending money and supplies is more useful than praying to nobody.
Definitely one of the worst Tornado destruction I have seen in my lifetime, thoughts and prayers to everyone affected.
Wow... The devastation is just mind-blowing. I've never seen a tornado go through the heart of a town. That thing knocked down huge brick structures no different than reducing a wooden house to splinters! I can't remember ever seeing anything worse from a tornado aftermath than this!
