It really irritates me that everyone says what a happy song this is. She's saying she only knows what to think when she's NOT talking to him. How she can't help focussing on the stress, and how her brain says not to love him. She's trying really hard not to resist being happy, and she might try hard but it's too hard to avoid. Her heart skips a beat.... She loves him, he makes her happy. But it's only in the quiet that she knows what to feel
@geobryvic i's just that i wrote so much in order to cover the bases that need defending. many people might see my comments and cruely insult an artist I admire. also, its the internet so i naturally presumed that your comment was for the worst case scenerio, so you can't blame me for it. it's just with this day and age, it's hard to believe that anyone isn't judging another especially on the internet, so please excuse my misunderstanding of your comment.
@geobryvic (con't) don't become addicted, then it should be fine. sometimes, rare as it is, its a matter of living an unhappy life where you hate yourself, and changing something and feeling a lot better. it's very easy to say that they should LEARN to love themselves, but its a much harder thing to do for some people. if she's happy now because of it then good for her. it's her body and her life to live, not urs so saying "u thought better of her" is very judgemental.
@geobryvic isn't it a little out of place to judge her. whether or not she has had a nose job is her decision to make. whether they fit into your standards of right or wrong, isn't the point. it's easy to say to be proud of your original looks, but its possible she took an alternative route to avoid previous criticisms, but it's not she's like a plastic surgery addict. it seems like such a stigma to have any work done when it makes some people feel good about themselves. as long as they don't

dont get me wrong, i love Lenka and her voice, but my fav is Trouble is a Friend b/c it is a little bit more sadistic and has the creeping feel to it, the music and voice that is with it sounds demestic, not b/c i heard it from Easy A, i like it b/c it is more of my style then something so up beat and optimistic

With Vevo, you get the same exact video. The only difference is that it is legal, good quality, and there is a picture around the video. You have a problem with high quality videos?

This is my fave video, super-creative and simple, yet not boring at all if you pay attention to the visual rhythm. This song sticks like crazy... watch out!
The only problem I have with this video is that while Lenka looks pretty, she doesn't look very happy. I associate Lenka with being happy and silly and girlish, so when she's just standing there expressionless she just doesn't seem like herself.

That is not really calming. They give us censured high definition and try to change my behavior. We were doing just fine before vevo. I remember calm. People today think they need to be grateful just for anything.
@adriannnaable actually, i love lenka. her songs have been the hymn for my life for quite a long time. i just never noticed her teeth. and i dont mean it in a bad intention, i actually like them.. its like freddy mercury's teeth that helped him sing awesome

I personally like this video better than the other one, it's a bit more.. "it's only in the quiet that I feel some relief" and less, "I'm trying hard not to resist the joy" if that makes any sense at all :P
@hihi0 I know right? About 2 years ago, when I was really depressed, (I couldn't leave my room for 2 weeks, that kind of depressed) I listened to her song "The Show" and felt so much better.

I love Lenka but I'm a little disappointed in her new stuff. It's still good but she showed so much promise on her first CD.
This is nice and all. I really hope though the album has slower and darker songs, that's where Lenka's voice really shines.
