I've tried it on both my carbon fiber fiddle and my pre-1890 wood fiddle, and it REALLY makes both sound better (allows more projection and clearer sound). I had wanted to try the Korfkerrest V2 for a long while, but decided to buy this one recently. The Luna is marvelous indeed-supremely comfortable, allows me to hold my violin with utter relaxation and confidence it will never slip-off. In my personal setting, it's almost as if it wasn't there, yet the violin still is totally secure. The tonal possibilities are amazing! Such power and brilliance without any thinness of sound. I have many other good, totally usable shoulder rests, but must admit this is a superior device. Super easy to adjust, and even more so to store. Made by Pirastro in Germany-love it, as well your original Oliv strings! (Pirastro: please keep producing different numbered gauges for Eudoxa/Oliv/Passione! Many of us need or prefer the lighter or heavier gauges, often on specific strings, depending on string line, etc.) Great work! Hope it's very successful; I believe many others are already greatly enjoying the Luna. 👍🌛
Simply outstanding. On four different violins the rest made a BIG difference on three of them (in comparison to the older Padauk wood one I own, which already seemed to superior to all the many rests I have tried) on a discernible difference on the fourth. I had several pros independently come to the conclusion it sounded as if I was using a different (and better) bow.

My son has had 3 korfkerRest and despite spending hours watching the videos, reading the Manuel, taking it to veteran luthiers in Chicago and multiple master teachers, all three are unusable because they fall off, including during a concerto competition, lessons, practice, and two orchestra performances where my son was the concert master. He likes the lightweight (which is why we have tried three since august 2022) but after spending more hours adjusting and following the Manuel and videos precisely, we are done. Based on our experience, which has embaressed and demoralized our son, and comments from teachers and luthiers who recounted similar experiences, we are extremely disappointed.

Then why does it cost like more than 200 USD? Shouldn't you make this affordable?
