This tutorial is a guide to starting the reactor for the first time. If you’re restarting the reactor, or if you’ve upgraded it, please see the checklist in the description as there are a couple of differences in the process. You can find a reactor shutdown tutorial here: th-cam.com/video/VT1dqKPfClE/w-d-xo.html
lol same here. I play flight simulator (XPLANE and MSFS) HEAVY and this actually got my attention away from that for a bit lol. I bought it thinking it 100% was a VR game and was excited. But it’s still cool
You can for a while, but eventually the grid demand outstrips the plant’s ability to supply. And the components have maintenance requirements, so every 6 days or so you’ll want to take the plant down for upgrade and maintenance using the points you gathered over the previous week.
You overload it, if 5000kwh exceeds you resistor blows up. How to fix? Well, first of all you have to use your turbine bypass so that not all too much steam enters your turbine. After syncronising then adjust the bypass so it matches demand.
You load the water at 1:00 - but check you haven't accidentally unticked the "plant ready to start operations" box when selecting new game. If you need help, join the game's Discord - the invite link is on the game's Steam page.

ShArPy1o1 Game's has been covering the Tutorials also within the game.
@@GamingGuy256636 he has but they’re *long*
@TiJayFLY note the thermostat will control the heaters for the Pressurizer, AO is no longer required to control heating.
And there is an external power supply so you dont have to heavily rely on your Emergency Generators.
thank you, random plane guy

Alright, now how do I make it go boom?
Very well done sir!
After all that, what do you do? Do you chill and do nothing? Or is there something else to do?

@@TiJayFLY There is xenon reactivity i see, what do you do with that? Or just leave it alone?
@@RADscouter I think there’s some kind of chemical minigame in testing, but it’s not currently part of the main gameplay. So yeah leave it
No matter what, my resistor banks keep failing. Why does this happen
On the Steam download page you’ll find a link to the Nucleares discord - ask for help there :)
@@TiJayFLY Thanks.

Just got the game. The reactor doesn't have water and there was no core to insert.

@@TiJayFLY Thank you. I'll take a look
