Lyrics (Written by the Ambassadors and Rally Kids)
As I look to the horizon, shadows dance around my soul.
They pull me out with the current and it feels too much to hold.
Sometimes I feel like I’m drowning.
But I know within my heart that I’m stronger than the anchor trying to weigh me down. I can make it to the shore.
    Refrain
I am brave in open water.
I am strong in face of fear.
Though the waves are crashing o’er me, I’ll sail on.
I can face the darkest tempest while upon uncharted sea. With my guiding scars and battle scars, I’ll stand.
I have the courage to stand.
I’m standing on a ship of silver sparkling like the stars above. I look at the constellations and they smile upon my face. They lead me on to tomorrow.
I choose to face what lies before me and ignite the fire within. Though the water may be rising, I refuse to drown.
Still, I choose not to sink. I’ll swim.
    Refrain
I’m standing on the brink. The water swells below.
But I won’t let my fear of drowning win or take control.
Off in the distance is a lighthouse full of hope.
Its light glitters and reminds me that despite the storm,
    I won’t forget I love to swim.
    Refrain
