Another terrific video. My wife may argue I would ignore the car problem 😬

Great advice as always.. thank you Coach Parry and to your team. This video is a good reminder to me. I tend to go out a bit faster when doing races. My mindset was always, I wouldn't be able to up my pace if I start out slow.
    Well, yesterday I ran a 6km.
First have I ran slower 6m10/20
    Second half my pace was faster 5m 45 / 40 / 35 😅
I never planned to do this

Watched this a few times and I’m still not sure I understand the added high-carb drink info. @ 12:00 with the 40-60 g/hr.

1 or 2 gels or their equivalent in each hour of running (if you're going to be running for an hour and a half or more. PLUS, some form of electrolyte drink along with that for hydration.

Your advice on not doing speedwork is completely contrary to Hal Higdon. In his intermediate marathon program he suggests tempo runs on Saturday, followed by the long run on Sunday.

I must have missed that. I didn't hear them suggest not doing speed work. Mainly I.heard keeling the slow easy training days, slow and easy.

Hack? I'm with your guys 100% but using the buzz word 'hack' is not the way to describe what you are doing here.

When we say walk through water stations, time per walk is what? I walk about a minute or 2 3-5 times during 20+ mile long runs.
