Half year ago my English was A0, now it A2 and I can understand you, I used only Duolingo for study all these time, only month ago I added watching videos comprehensible input.
So duolingo no so bad how you think, but most people really don't know how it use in useful way. I study Duolingo English course from Russian language, I finished 160 units, and all course have 337 units, I always have tried to do one unit a day and it's useful and improv my English fast. This year I will finish all course duolingo. But people don't do 1 unit a day, they do one unit a week or a month, because of this they many month study "apple and bread".
Haha that's a fair observation, friend. I'm sure if I spent much more time using Duolingo I would find it more helpful too ⭐ you're right

It sucks because duo lingo could be great it doesn’t cost anything to just have useful phrases and a wider range of sayings things
I totally agree! They have the resources to do it... But maybe their students learning quickly wouldn't benefit them as much as keeping them in the beginner stages 😬😂
