When you saw her in the werk room just trying her outfit on it looked SO GOOD. Better than two who were in the top 3, easily.

Yeah definitely megami deserved to be in the top over dawn (hers was far better looking and far better constructed)
They wanted all three blue looks to stay on the runway for the drama
I'd have put her or Nymphia over Jane. Neither were going to win, it was always Q, but for the sake of spreading out screen time and critiques I think Megami would have made more sense as the 3rd top.
In the case of Nmpyhia, I think the doll not matching her look enough would've hinted at such a mixed review, making her safe was fine.

I think Nymphia was safe because either they wanted all blue ones to be there, and also because her doll wasn't matching her in some key points (different hair and different bow).

@@majelalover8837 Every week...? Nymphia has been in 5 episodes so far, since episode 2. Let's see:
Episode 2 - banana entrance and reveal runway - this was the first time we saw her, so it makes sense
Episode 3 - ball challenge - none of her 3 looks had bananas or yellow, except her boots in her design look
Episode 4 - cher runway - her look had no bananas or yellow
Episode 5 - pussycat runway - her look had no bananas or yellow
Episode 6 - branding design challenge - her look is yellow, but has no bananas on it (except in her speech)
If we look at it like this... she's only worn yellow/bananas for 2 out of 5 episodes so far, and both times, branding was appropriate (premiere episode and branding challenge).
This is nowhere near "every week" lol. Sometimes she wears yellow in the challenges, but it still feels fresh. In the girl group challenge, she wore yellow, but it matched with the rest of her team. In the mini challenges, she sometimes wears yellow, but that's just the mini challenge... and she wears yellow in the werkroom, but that's her boy look lmao.
Yall dont understand that yellow isn't just a colour she likes and looks good in, it's also a play on the word "yellow" that's used to describe east asian people and our skin colour. It's taking the piss out of "yellow" used in a derogatory way and reclaiming our pride from racist concepts like "yellow face" or "yellow fever". Bananas being the colour yellow and a pun for d*cks is also a fun way to incorporate that theming lol.

Not only were the judges giving her nothing but they also zoomed in on her Bobby pins when she turned on the runway. They got me too I was relieved Sapphira drank it to stay another weeek then was like wait what 😅

The new judge on Belgium is Lio, a very popular pop singer in the 80's and 90's, who had a few hits, like "Banana Split", "Fallait Pas Commencer" and "Les Brunes Comptent Pas Pour Des Prunes".
Megami’s outfit was good but I felt like the colour of the fabric blended together and with the cape it made it really hard to see any shape

I feel very weird about everyone living for Nymphia's look. I thought the top was pretty and the fabric she chose was beautiful but in terms of the actual silhouette, wig, and the huge bow it felt mismatched and slightly unpolished for me. I truly ADORE her, Nymphia stans don't come for me thank yew

Plasma's doll was fantastic, her own dre? No. but her doll was stellar. The tops should have been Q Megami and Nymphia
I think the reason why Nymphia wasnt in the top was either bc her doll and her look didnt match, or bc this look was slightly below the standard of drag she's presented so far. (Which is crazy)
Nymphia didn't really match her doll with the hair and bow. I know its her brand but I hope she switches up her color palette more.
See n loce Nymphia, i felt her dress looked beautiful from the front, but from the back...a bit basic. Compared to the other highs this week, it didnt completely bowl me over. Plus, her doll didnt match. But id imagine she was the highest of the safe queens
Nymphia didn't win for me for two reasons: the doll is different to her runway and then the voiceover wasnt very original, just using her taglines.
I think Sapphiras look was a bit boring, the pattern made her doll look quite different and IMO much more interesting, but she was perfectly safe for me.

I agree that Plasmas look was very predictable, but I think at least it looked good both on her and the doll, whereas Morphines doll looked crazy to me and was equally as predictable.

No offense but I feel you guys are being super biased. This week, Nymphia did not deserve to be in the top because unfortunately her doll did not fully match her outfit (just have a look at that pink ribbon vs the yellow ribbon), plus she did not sell it in the voiceover, but of course she always has to be in the top or potentially win because she's her. On a different note, you are always going about it discrediting Plane's work because maybe you guys can't separate her drag from her shenanigans. You're soo right. I see a lot of people acting like this was a regular design challenge that was about the constructed garment only. This challenge was also about branding, not just making a great look. Nymphia made a fabulous dress, but didn't hit the mark on the other 2/3rds of the challenge. Plane definitely deserved her top placement.

Nymphia may have been only safe because her doll didn’t match her at all. The hair colour was different, the doll had a fascinator but she didn’t and the bow wasn’t even the same colour. Yes, both were pretty, but if they didn’t match, then she failed part of the assignment

Veuve (widow in French) is pronounced like the word "verve" in English, so they probably meant that the "eu" makes an "er" sound like in "her", or in "burger" or "finger". :) The only reason I know this is because the champagne brand that also has the word in its name.

Megami should have definitely been in the top. I thought it was the best outfit, construction wise, besides Q. And I think she NAILED the branding part of this challenge, in both the doll and voice over, while most of the other girls completely missed the mark. Truly wild she wasn't in the top. Rigor Morris.

Plane Jane had the best voiceover so it made sense she was in the top Nymphias voiceover was pretty bad and Saphira looked beautiful but it was so simply and uninspired plus the doll looked crazy.
I couldn't be sold on Plane's voiceover as soon as she said in the work room that it was the aquatic edition followed by that's not somewhere Plane is known for going. I was like really gurl it's a branding challenge and your presenting a brand that has nothing to do with you. Okurr.

Also I don't know if it's just me, but I keep noticing Plane Jane referencing (or copying, sometimes) other drag race queens. Like Katya in her meet the queens, Jimbo in her talent show, she also looked like Baga Chipz in that book cover mini challenge (from the "much better" acting challenge), and in this last design episode she was giving Denali with the ice-skating-looking outfit
I'm not saying it's a bad thing, I'm just saying it looks like she's just cosplaying other queens (ok this sounds bad though)
I agree the possibly Nymphia could’ve been in the top over Plane Jane. But Megami and Sapphira??? Their looks weren’t bottom worthy but Plane’s definitely stood out more. And amongst the Top 3, I think Plane had the best monologue. It stuck to her brand and was funny

Hello from Geneva Switzerland. I’m American but have lived in the French part of Switzerland for 2 years. La veuve means ‘the widow’ ….the easiest way in can think of to explain its pronunciation is this : say ‘ verve’ but silence the R. Hope that helps.

Hi both! :) recent linguistics graduate here and I wanna help you settle this debate on how to pronounce ‘La Veuve’. Firstly I’d recommend typing ‘veuve’ into google translate in French and trying to mimic the sound of the audio. The vowel sound between both the ‘v’s in ‘La Veuve’ is similar to an English ‘er’ so you try pronouncing it as ‘verve’ in your best french accent. Hope this helps 😂❤❤

Megami's look matched everything really well. I would have had her in the top with q and nymphia. Dawn's branding was good, the doll was excellent and the best doll out of them all but her outfit? No.

Maybe I'm in the minority but I think Sapphira was correct to use her potion this week, the dress itself was fine but the hair was really different from doll and the pattern didn't translate between both looks. The judges didn't seem like they lived for the jokes either. I don't think she would've been bottom 2, but its been her weakest week so far so I get why she did it

The reason they mentioned her outfit to,was because they were soooo in love with her outfit and all,but just one thing they liked a tinge better.
In my hot tv fantasy, Q gets eliminated next week completely cracking her and plane Jane is in the bottom with her after helping a queen out with her potion.
I think they ask if they want to use potion earlier than shown, so when she said yes on runway it was too late to say no. Because the show makes them read stuff 2-3 times to make sure they understand challenges so nobody’s an say they didn’t understand the challenge so i don’t think they make the decision right before critique maybe after they walk runway before camera resets before they all line up on stage for critique
It's because their alphabets are different in some countries to so different letters make different sounds than we are taught
I also think the edit around the decision of the potion . Naturally they probably ask before the runway how everyone thinks they did which someone would ask about the potions so since she used it they kept that talk in to lead up to the use. I could imagine plane every week saying “ is sapphira gonna use her potion”
Seeing Saphira use her potion and getting immediately sent into untucked got me thinking. What if Jane uses it on someone else that did well that week to help her secure a win? Now that would be villainous and super strategic.
