@@thatonecaledonian812Yeah, NP is one of the reasons why BN existed, infact BN is my favorite railroad. I live in the northwest, they ran in my home town, the Oregon electric line.
Honestly, I'm still going to call them Northern Pacific Airways because that's the name I first knew them as. However, it is very interesting that they received a preliminary injunction that ordered them to stop using the name Northern Pacific due to BNSF (Burlington Northern Santa Fe) suing them for trademark infringement (There was once a railway called the Northern Pacific Railway (NP), and BNSF is the NP's successor.
I've known about this airline since 2022 and now they've finally started Service. I'm thinking they have a 51% chance of success and 49% on unsuccess. Great Video though! And this airline should be suggested to people in Alaska trying to get over to Asia
I saw their 757s back in November at Ontario International Airport before they started operations. They were sitting on the ramp. (I made an planespotting video filming them) Cool for you to make an video on them!
Honestly i think theyre gonna need 777s or A330s to fly down to places like tokyo or sydney or somethin, so after they get enough money they might buy those but also if they fly to Australia they can fly from places like LAX but they would still need a long range plane but anyway great video :)
The 757 was the cheapest, readily available aircraft that would serve Northern Pacific well (I should have mentioned that in the video), if they succeed, they probably will make orders for those modern Airbus aircraft!
Because the 757 carries more passenger and has exceeding performance it’s actually the exact opposite or the A340-300, it’s the most OVERPOWERED passenger aircraft ever.
2:10 An interesting fact: there was not a single living passenger on the MX17 flight, because after the crash neither a thing nor a body was found. And the day before the flight, all "passengers" had pages in social networks. Yes, and the plane itself flew through the restricted area
I kinda support them, its just the best way to remake the thousands of years ago lost ice bridge between Alaska and East-Russia, They are not a competing average airways.
Well NPA (northern pacific airways) IS in Anchorage which is a major hub for a certain airline based 1200 miles away in Seattle Washington (Alaska Airlines)
I saw one flying over my home a few days ago! It was flying a bit low, so I got a good picture! I hope they do well, seems like a low cost airline but good at the same time. Like Sun Country.
2:50 as a Russian, I can say that I see it every day on the streets of Kamchatka, and we also really want to shoot down all the planes that fly over us, so be careful 🤗

I think the point of selling Alaska as a stopover destination doesn't work as most people traveling to Asia aren't going as tourists but to see family or do business so making a stopover to visit somewhere with almost nothing isn't gonna sell.
@@ice711real Icelandair sells to tourists who want to see as much as possible and if a cheaper flight means a layover may as well see one more country.
