Today, I invite you to visit the Basilica of Saint Sixtus, where Saint Jean Curé d'Ars rests. His heart is kept in a reliquary in the Chapel of the Heart, next to the basilica.
From his name Jean-Baptiste-Marie Vianney, he was beatified and canonized and is the patron saint of all priests in the world. When he died, his body did not decompose. Currently still venerated in the basilica, his face has been covered with a thin layer of wax.
And I also had the opportunity to visit the wax museum about him (these wax figures are made by the famous Grevin wax museum in Paris), and I was also able to visit his house where he lived.
Before leaving, I bought some presents for family and friends.
