This is the note C at the back of that form. If you have agreed to us verifying your identity with HM Passport Office or are providing an original valid passport, UK issued travel document, Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) or an EU or EA identity card as proof of your identity, then you do not need someone suitable to sign the back of your photo. Just to clarify, do you mean you don’t have one of those proof of identity that’s why you need someone to sign that part of your form? And yes, not someone who lives the same address with you. One of your workmates or friend can sign it for you as long as a resident of the uk or has valid GB photocard.

@Asawizzyy as for me, i did not send special return envelope for my brp. It was indeed worrying but gladly it was returned to me safe. But if you are worried and wants to track your brp when they mail it back to you, then you can do so.
Hi miss,Is that a rule should we get photos for Provisional licence in UK or can I use passport size photo(black and white) that I have already with me.
I am not so sure if you can use that. But I think as long as it’s a recent photo of yours and the correct size that they require is fine. But when in doubt, better get a new one since in the photo booths, it will let you choose if what’s the photo for.

I have been in UK for more than 1 year , but i visited india 2 times in last 12 months.Last time i visited india 2 weeks before. Based on this information, what information i need to provide the above mentioned field? If i provide yes to the field, the next question is what date is i have come to live in UK. Here if i provide last week date, can i apply the provisional license Or should i provide No to the field and proceed

Yes. The DVLA provided you an envelope along with their package. So send it back to them along with your documents.

If you sent your application and purchased a tracking mail, then you can track it to know where your application at the moment.

Nobody signed for me. There’s a certain criteria where you need another person to sign it.

They will mail it back to you. After you receive your dvla licenses ID. Wait a day or 2 and your BRP will arrive.
