      Each one easy to explain.
Plague 1: Transfusion of water to blood by adding an ungodly amount of sulfur to the mix.
Plague 2: Increase in humidity and breeding grounds for frogs/toads
Plague 3: Lice are migrating to more humid conditions that to them it free food and living conditions
Plague 4: Same as 3, but things are dying. Breed grounds
Plague 5 and Plague 6 and Plague 7: Introduction of space dust that isn't suppose to be on Earth, throws the entire ecology into a spin that people have a skin irritation that's worse than fiberglass.
Plague 8: Same as 3, migration and food.
Plague 9: Worse thunderstorms ever. No rain, and most of the humidity makes it worse as people start freezing
Plague 10: Soul-cutting. Targeted lines of families have their souls rescinded the body.
I mean, we do it all the time, but on a smaller scale.

I learned this from a podcast. Father Mike Schmitz pointed out that Pharaoh may have been the one to harden his own heart, but the reason the rest of Egypt was affected was because the other Egyptians were just as guilty as Pharaoh. They chose to go along with the enslavement and killing of the Hebrews so they were just as bad as Rameses was. If you think about it, the 10th plague was pretty merciful compared to what happened to the Hebrew babies.

I feel the river of blood is also a reminder of when Pharoh Seti had ordered his men to slaughter the Hebrew babies where some drowned or were eatten by predators like the crocodiles that lived in those waters.
Maybe some were riddeled with guilt for what they did and some didn't... who knows? Still I feel like the river of blood is a reminder of what cruelties they had commited in the past.
Not to mention how when the soilders had touched the water I thought back to the old saying, "blood on your hands" meaning they are responsible for that person's death. I also wanted to point out when Ramses's son had blood on his hands when he touched the water. I feel there's also some symbolic meaning to that too, he is Ramses's son and by extension Pharoh Seti's grand son meaning they have done some unpleasant things in their bloodline even when Ramses's son in the film has seemingly done nothing wrong and is a child after all.
Who knows If he had survived until adulthood would he have done the same terrible atrocities like his father and grandfather before him if he had not been killed by one of the terrible plauges that would hit Egypt??? Remember how Ramses's own father had shoved all of Egypt's traditions and rules on becoming a proper ruler who's to say he wouldn't have done the same to his own kid??
These just some thoughts on how different I see the film now with a more open mindset. Some of you may have other thoughts but I thought this would sorta okay to share.

“No Rameses, it is only beginning…” The firm and sad tone of Moses’ words tells everything. He tried his best to change his beloved brother’s mind to no success but cannot keep God from sending the plagues. You can never proudly fight God but be humble and accept His will ☺️

Most of the plagues are the effect of a volcano erupting.

    • @Mykal06
      @Mykal06 หลายเดือนก่อน

I may be misunderstanding, but are you implying that your point disproves this event or are you just pointing out something you noticed? Because the plagues are not mostly the effect of a volcano erupting.
These are the 10 plages God brought upon Egypt:
      water turning to blood
      frogs
      lice
      flies
      livestock pestilence
      boils
      hail
      locusts
      darkness
and the killing of firstborn children
But yea, I’d recommend reading about it from the Bible! And giving your life to Christ! He loves you and died on the cross for you and resurrected 3 days later so that we may all be saved. All we have to do is believe in Him and our sins are forgiven and we are saved. Follow Jesus’ teachings and build a relationship with God. Please give your life to Christ and make the right choice today, before it’s too late. Jesus loves you.

@somerandomdude-ub6lv Well. It was Rameses who brought all this to his own nation, not just because of his cruelty towards the Hebrews, but also being incredibly stubborn. And that's where the plagues come as a mockery of each of the members of the Egyptian Pantheon. And later on, he says to Moses that there shall be a great cry in all of Egypt. Sure enough, it's as if God heard this and used those exact words to unleash Azrael.
