    I love your crochet shawl, I have started the same shawl using my leftover fingering yarns. I am doing 2 rows of the same colour and I love it.

      Hello from Somerset, UK! I picked up for the sleeves on the sweater this week and now working down an arm. Tried it on me before I did that and although it’s the smallest size (I normally knit a size 3 or 4 in sweaters) it was an ok fit! So a second one for me is on the cards.

    I have just discovered your channel and have really enjoyed this video. I made the triangular granny shawl in chunky because I had chunky yarn and didn’t know what to do with it. I loved making the shawl and will definitely make another one in fingering. Want to make the Tolsta Tee and am glad of your recommendation to do it in a cotton mix. Good luck at the yarn festival and thankyou for a lovely video. Oh and for the book recommendations! Xx

      Thank you for watching and welcome! I can imagine a chunky weight granny shawl would be beautifully cosy! I really enjoy knitting in cotton / cotton mix yarns - hoping to try some others out this year. I’ll be recording again very soon so see you then 👋

    I thoroughly enjoy your content! I understand your anxiety about the yarn show. That reflects your character as someone who appreciates the customer’s experience and respects good business practices. Best of luck!😁

      Thank you! You’re right, I do want visitors to have a good experience. I know I always remember the times when customer service has been either wonderful or woeful and I know which side of that fence I’d like to sit on.

    I always really enjoy your podcasts, seeing what you are making, reading and watching. I’m intrigued by the number of projects you have on the go at any one time. How do you decide what to work on next, and how do you remember where you are and what you are doing on each project? I only ever work on one thing at a time, and even if I have a second project on my needles I find I still only work on one til it’s finished (unless there’s a problem then the whole thing gets abandoned for some time)! And good luck with your show - you must come to Wonderwool Wales one year, that’s the yarn show I visit every year.

    • @EldenwoodCraft
      @EldenwoodCraft  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks Caroline ☺️ I’ll answer that as part of the next podcast if that’s ok. Good question! Wonderwool is one of definitely like to do and have looked at. I need to see how East Anglia goes and then make a decision as to whether shows are something I can commit to 🤞

    So lovely to catch up with you Emma! Love all your wips and I think you may have inspired me to cast on a crochet shawl too! As a mother to a 22 y old daughter I can only sympathise with you. I have given up on an idea of knitting a sweater for her although there was a big chunky cardigan from @weareknitters I knitted for her a couple of years ago which she has been known to wear a handful of times!
