Not sure if they make them, but some small quick disconnects for the trailer jack would be awesome. Also, trailer looks good out on the trail behind the TF2 brother!
Some dual foams might give the 4Runner even better scale look by way of tire bulge, without sacrificing performance. P.S. The perfect music really makes the build bits work
I think the traler is cool but it doesn't matter what I think it matters what you think! I'd like to pull a trailer behind my fj just because it would fit in when I go out and play tiny trucks !
I'm with u on the dx5 rugged, a few buddies have em and I hate the touch pad. I have the dx5c, its the same as rugged but it has a click button roller on , much better

They both look great the way u have them set up josh. If u take the one off the 4runner, will it fit across the bed of one of the truck beds? Or wat about the chassis without a bed? Mount the tent straight to the chassis n just get a cab to make it a dedicated overlander. Could even get a roof rack for the cab for all the campin accessories. Just a thought...

Question , I don't have any idea if you happen to agree but that roof top tent appears to belong on a taller truck since it does not fold out completely nor does the ladder comparing it to how the trailer tent folds out perfectly ?

if you don't like the forerunner body anymore,i have a nib digital camo rc4wd blazer I would trade,i just opened the box and looked at it ..also go to ebay and type in 90mm shocks,you can get all 4 shocks that look exactly like king for 20 bucks the springs on them are kind of stiff,but they also come with a set of soft springs as well.Ive already got 6 sets and I just ordered another 5 sets.

I have no idea where to get that at, but I have seen one before so they do exist. Someone on my facebook feed has a picture of the real movie truck with a tamiya semi in front of it to match.
The tent you put on the 4-Runner; was that really made to go on the roof, or was it more for like a pickup bed? Do people actually put a tent like that on the top of their 1/1 scale SUV's? Doesn't seem like the roof would be strong enough to do it on a real one.
Yeah, people really do it on the 1:1 rigs. Most have a roof rack under it though to support it. The tan tent is a bit too heavy for where it is, if it was the same material as the green one it might work better. Nut I am taking it off anyway. Just too heavy for the 4runners 4link suspension
I had that issue on mine, added the springs and it still seemed a bit floppy fully loaded. If your using the rc4wd kit shocks they never really get better.
its not just hobby town though.... traxxas has raised prices on all parts within the past yr and everything and i mean everything is more expensive as far as parts go.
I love how this hobby continues to get ridiculously priced. Only the wealthy deserves sweet rc dammit. Even plastic modeling is getting stupid priced. Poor guys stick to sticks!

Boom racing desert lizards are around 25.00 a pair thru amazon, I think thats where I got mine.

The tent is coming off the 4runner. Not going to chop the ladder since it may need to be longer for something int he future.

I found a guy on eBay that makes 1:32/1:25 scale heads. I emailed him, still waiting on a reply. Thanks for the response though 👍

What can I do to fix the sag in my fj40? I have so much sht on the roof rack it sags hard. Stiff spring upgrade?help please‽

Not bad. The hitch has loosened up a little. About the only weak point I’ve had so far.
