My sister asked me to make this for our parent's anniversary party. I started before I saw this but now I know how to place the candies and how many to buy. Costco will be the best for me. I wasn't going to use concrete, if I do I hope it doesn't make it too heavy, I need to pack it in a suitcase, I have limited weight.
This is such a great tutorial -- each step is clear and concise, with plenty of good video footage to back it up. And the idea is so cute and clever (deceptively easy, too, for how nice the end product looks). You should make more tutorials, you're really good at it! :)
I have never decorated with gold during Christmas and was thinking about doing it this year. These Ferrero Rocher topiary trees will add nicely to the décor and for our holiday party. Thank you for sharing.
Adding chocolates to the bottom is a great idea. I added them in mine when I put it on display. This is probably more concrete than is absolutely necessary, but it does keep the base from tipping over when the chocolates are taken from the sphere.
Soooo amazing. I was looking out on how to make flower trees. Thank you so much..hehe I won't tell your wife that you used her wooden spoon...lol thanks once a again.
Thankyou heaps for this i was going to do a tower but this center piece is much more amazing looking thanks heaps lifesaver as i need a perfect centerpice for my babys gold themed 1st birthday!!
Omg dis is amazing bd elegant but I hv a question what can I use other than cement or what ever plzzz I need to know because I'm looking further to do it thxx
this looks Brilliant, People are selling theses for £50 pounds here in the UK, Im going to make some for my daughter and get the feel of achievement and not pay £50 pounds
Zinnia Relova Great tutorial! Thank you! How do you keep the bottom chocolates from falling off the toothpick? I made several for my daughters 21st birthday and it was a problem for me. Thank you for your response
Really good video! Going to make some for Christmas! How far in advance could I make them as I don't want the chocolates to go off and there will be a small hole in them from the cocktail stick. Will this make then go bad quicker? Thanks!
Hi,i have made a few of the ferro trees, using the same materials as you, wrapped them well,2 weeks before christmas, and had to bin the lot, because the choclates had gone off.Do you know why please
Wowser, glad I searcged I was getting ready to have them made at $50 dollars, is there a place where I can get the chocolates as wholesale????pkease help
Thanks. I believe the tree top requires about 94-96 chocolates. It really depends on the spacing. Also, don't forget to fill the top of the base with chocolates too.
Hi, I wanna how to ship them out of state? I wanna learn proper way of packaging. Please let me know if anybody hv any idea. I bubble wrapped it but it arived broken!!
Instead of using concrete I used malteasers and super glued the stick to the bottom for a more "soil" look. So when people have a treat of the tree the could also take some of the "soil" aswell. This is more easier way.
You're right, the concrete isn't absolutely necessary, but it sure helps to keep the tree solid and prevents it from tipping over when someone tries to take a chocolate.
It takes just under 100 chocolates to fill out the sphere and then a few more can be put into the top of the base. The exact number varies depending on how close they're spaced.
One of the best fererro tree tutorials . So easy to understand

Helen Moore And then you can make more and sell them for £50 pounds :D
You'll spend £50 on buying 100 chocolates lol
I never did buy any, but the idea was there
I always buy the chocolate when it is on sale but thank god it is not that expensive in the netherlands to buy it XDXD
This is so cool! Nice idea!

Zinnia Relova
Great tutorial! Thank you! How do you keep the bottom chocolates from falling off the toothpick? I made several for my daughters 21st birthday and it was a problem for me. Thank you for your response
Best idea so far
That is deliciously awesome :D gonna make this a gift !
Lovely work there Atomic Troy but I could never do this myself! Its way too tempting not to eat those chocolates. Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmy!
Excellent tutorial.....Thanks!
Excellent tutorial.
I found the 12-pack size shown in the video to be the best value. These were purchased at Walmart for around $3.50. This tree used about 8 packs.
Really good video! Going to make some for Christmas! How far in advance could I make them as I don't want the chocolates to go off and there will be a small hole in them from the cocktail stick. Will this make then go bad quicker? Thanks!
om my gosh..how creative! I love it;)
That looks great
do you think i can use a bit smaller sphere than the one you used?
Hi,i have made a few of the ferro trees, using the same materials as you, wrapped them well,2 weeks before christmas, and had to bin the lot, because the choclates had gone off.Do you know why please
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS!
Other than cement, you might be able to use gypsum plaster or "plaster of paris". Its a large volume, however and drying might be a problem.
wow! Thank you so much for doing sucha detailed tutorial! :)
Sure, you can use a smaller sphere. I'd recommend to make the stick proportionally smaller as well so the size relationships remain balanced.
Wooooow great idea
Wowser, glad I searcged I was getting ready to have them made at $50 dollars, is there a place where I can get the chocolates as wholesale????pkease help
This vid was sooooo helpful thx so much
I was thinking about doing this for my teacher. Is it heavy? The pot and concrete look like a lot! Thank You! :D
Wow I like it super nice😀
Thanks. I believe the tree top requires about 94-96 chocolates. It really depends on the spacing. Also, don't forget to fill the top of the base with chocolates too.
struggling to find a compatable pot could you recomend anywhere.. would flower pot shells 15cm on ebay be any good
very creative. i want to make this
wow thanks for this video .very helpful
Very helpful!! Thank you so much!!!!
I loved it!! This is amazing!!
I'm going to make one for my girlfriend for christmas because it's probably really cheap to make but looks brilliant. LOL
Amazing,so effective
Hi, I wanna how to ship them out of state? I wanna learn proper way of packaging. Please let me know if anybody hv any idea. I bubble wrapped it but it arived broken!!
Beautiful I love it!!!!!
How many piece of ferrero rochers you use to make this tree
I love this video .

Great video
Woooow your really talented I love this
Wow this is really creative I love it😊😊
You're right, the concrete isn't absolutely necessary, but it sure helps to keep the tree solid and prevents it from tipping over when someone tries to take a chocolate.
Awesome awesome awesome work...!
this is great 😉👍👍👍👍👍
That was very helpful & pretty Imazing but I hoped that's is easier
Wow that is cool
The finished tree is a little heavy but not too much. The weight in the base keeps the tree stable, it won't tip over easily!
THAT LOOKS LOVELY, BUT TOO MUCH WORK FOR ME--LOL, ILL TRY TO BUY ONE ALREADY MADE
It takes just under 100 chocolates to fill out the sphere and then a few more can be put into the top of the base. The exact number varies depending on how close they're spaced.
i like it, it's great, bravo!
Me encantó, es una idea fabulosa 💗
