6:00 "don't be scared to keep adding air when you're trying to set the bead, there's nothing to be scared of, it won't ruin your tire" There is a max pressure for seating, explosions are dangerous.
I appreciate the video. Really good stuff. Its probably not my place to say anything but if you guys are going to use a nice camera it would be a better experience to get that auto focus under control. Also stop pointing the camera out the window unless you’re going to adjust your iso. I know one of you has an iPhone 12pro and if not get one it will do a better job for this type of scenario while you figure out how to really use that camera. Please keep them coming I’m excited to see what other cool stuff you’re doing.
So, why do you recommend not using this technique for not removing the controller cover…? Is there a risk of damaging the attached wire connection while aggressively removing the tire?
I would argue about that tire pressure "wont hurt your tire" when trying to seat the bead... The plastic wrap on my Burris tire had a manufacturer's warning saying not to inflate over 40 PSI because it will cause tire damage. Excessive pressure rips the radial ply fibres in the tire carcass and you can end up with a lumpy mis-shapen tire when it rolls. You can buy a tire wrap which protects the carcass during bead seating. Or wrap a few layers around the tire of fibreglass packing tape (the type that will not stretch). The tire shop in my town said to use a real slippery detergent when bead seating, and sometimes they also put the tire in the hot sun for 30 minutes before fitting, which softens and expands the bead. 🙂
I've went over 100 psi when setting the bead, it'll be perfectly fine. You almost always have to go over the manufacturers PSI warning. The best thing to do is use a bucket and either some Armor Dilloz lubricant or else just some soapy water. Lube your rim and inside of the tire of, put it in the bucket and give it some air. The bucket will put reverse pressure on the tire allowing you to use way less PSI.
@@sentientcardboarddumpster7900 ?.. No idea. Maybe because the tread wears away and the carcass remains? Thanks to Copy Imitation for the bucket idea. I'll still stick with fibreglass tape though because my plastic bucket is very weak. A metal bucket would be great. 👍
Dope. I always wondered why folks damn near break down the entire board just to replace the wheel. I mean, isn't it more dangerous messing around with the tech innards? I'd say that, right there could be an acceptable "warranty void" on FMs agin-mod campaign.
Can we have an other take of this movie but more out of focus please ? We still can see something time to time and that's really not your point isn't it ......

Bahahahahahahaha

seriously what is the focus on this video...

Rewatching this and can't believe I didn't recognize AJ the first time around. Congrats on the new location and thanks for the same-day parts! :)
Just did this quick last night. Thank you!!! Worked great
changed my 1st tire to this video took me like 20 minutes 🥓🤜🤛🥓 thanks my man

its unwatchable as it is.
@@Yourbrainonmagic Agreed. Really hard to watch with the focus issues.

Probably. I'd just detach the motor control wire (or can't you do that on a +?)
holy discord notification sound.... lets not next time, eh??

@@wizrom3046 Good way to create a literal grenade when the tire blows! Metal shrapnel for the win! Not that plastic would be a lot better.

Good lord dude...this is pit crew shit- love it
Can y’all share the link to the nylon tire bar you use? I bought two, but they’re not maneuverable with little torque to be had haha
How high is the max for adding PSI. I'm at 40 right now and it didn't pop.
I had to go 70 for my FF Whispers (both of them)

What model is the Tire? You can't see anything due to focus issues ...
So was this an attempt to say, “this is the best way to do it -but they say your not supposed to” ??
A for Artistic Attempt, F for fire the camera guy lol
And dear god get that man a tissue!!!
Got the tire changed and now it wont balance. it has drag if i push it but wont let me step up on it? help!
OK took it apart 4 times before I realized that I plugged in the 2 cords backward. So I'm off.

This just seems like a lot more work than actually removing the entire rim lol

To save another few minutes, just cut the old tire off the wheel.
That’s not a bad idea lol mine has over 2k miles

Could have left the stem in and No need to wipe the slime. 😂
you guys commenting on blur and focus.. shot the front door.
Why jot do it this way?
please just reshoot this video
Auto exposure but not auto focus hu.
And why do you NOT recommend this method? Are you just being sarcastic?
The way not to was the way the initial guy was going to do it.
The focus on this is atrocious the tire you changed looks unused too lol
