Will the Nostalgia questline be available in the next wipes?
Love how all the cheaters and CHADS MAD that were having fun on PVE it’s driving them nuts no one to kill and cheat as much on lol keep crying while we enjoy Tarkov for once lol
Nostalgia was supposed to be for EoD only, pockets were supposed to be earnable for everyone, so if that questline unlocks the pockets, something changed since the last reddit post

the question i've got is, Nostalgia is already a quest in the game, what do they mean they're making it a quest line? you already go and grab jaegers photo from the resort and then that quest leads to fishing place... so did they just forget?

If we're forced to run it locally, it's gonna tank performance for a lot of people. Not worth at all. Hopefully the option to use servers stays.

Agreed, full raid timer and local servers are what have kept me from doing any raids on my pve character so far.
*cough cough SPT did it better years sooner and it has community made mods for free to modify the game with additional AI, guns, and hundreds of new quests to your liking

I'm assuming the 27min limit is because of them not having enough server space, with local hosting it won't be such a big problem for them and they'll likely eventually extend it

PvE Tarkov just dumps loads of scavs on you. To me it's like playing normal offline with high scavs and quests.

Does anyone know now that solo PVE will run local on your pc if they will increase the raid times to what they are in pvp mode? I hate the shortened times in the PVE mode.
They will probably go up again since they just tried to save themselves money by squeezing more raids and servers per physical server. Back in the old das you had +1:30h on bigger maps. Miss those times.
@@Black-bj3tx gave u thumbs up but am sus about there ever being 90min raids. Not even reserve had that when it arrived and it was largest map at that point. Tried to find yt videos from years of full raids and close calls but woods & shoreline had 45 and/or 50min timers on few patches. So when exactly do you think there was 90min timer? And on what maps. Cuz i tried to find proof and it is hella hard. I have been watching content about this game since 2017 and been playing since 2018 i don't remember even 1 hour raids. Maybe some map like one version of streets had 55min?
Nothing is said in the post about the length of raids. I would assume that the raid times won't change.
@@samamies88 it might be possible. factory had 40 minutes in alpha to play on it, you can see that through one of summits first times playing tarkov.

Honestly sounds like half assed changes that are a net negative for PVE. So they made AI travel everywhere and take more loot but PMCs still spawn with dog💩 weapons and don’t shoot at scavs while simultaneously setting up completely silent ambushes around hotspots since they don’t care about other AI. 😂
Oh, and performance downgrades for everyone because connecting to a server isn’t an option but tied to what mode/map you pick. 👍
Sorry for my lack of comprehension but, does the LOCAL PVE thing allow you and buddies to play on that local server ?
No the locally instanced server is specifically for if you run solos

PvE solo on your own pc means it will play like an offline tarkov game. Stuttery.

i love the roaming of the scavs and pmc but the fps is unplayable for most maps for us ive never had a problem till now.
Really excited for the PVE changes FINALLY! Just hope the AI is as good as SPT.
I wouldn't expect the AI to be any better than the base scavs. TBH BSG really drops the ball with AI difficulty 9/10. I would expect the AI PMCS to have much larger sighting ranges & improved aggression.
Its not. Nothing will compare to Algorithmic Level Progression, SPT Realism and SAIN.
@@Kilo3Cav19K ALP sucks balls. It's completely counter-intuitive to how the game should work. The thrill of killing a higher level PMC when you're low level is gone because everything is leveling with you simultaneously. That's boring as shit. Realism and SAIN are definitely amazing and BSG definitely has the capability of matching those if they wanted to. You'd have be foolish to think otherwise. Whether they match it or not is to be seen.

People are always so negative. Even crying about something in a patch that is not even out. You can be happy that Tarkov is in a Beta state where they actually active update and try to make it a functional game. And ppl who say "some dad devs can fix their game in x time" they dont even reallize that the SPT is full Singleplayer not even running on servers. Aswell there is no PVP. Besides that it has some good ideas that are implemented like the radiation zone in the bunker. And yes bugs, lags and cheater u can´t avoid. Don´t forget that u play a Beta (i know it is an almost finished game) where lags and bugfixes especially performance, is the last point that is getting focused(rn testing in ETS). Overall the SPT modder just pick the finished product edit it make it less laggy and ppl say its better. Sure it is if they just can focus on fixing performance.
Its crazy how we are so close to release and NOW they think about adding a poll system and wishlist for quest and barter items :)))))) took you like 10 years but ok
Being a tarkov and a counter strike player. Its all most mind blowing to see tarkov over take cs in frequency and quality of updates.
If they make it possible for me to earn everything the unheard edition has with my standard account via difficult questlines, I might actually forgive them for all the bullsh*t they've done.

for pve try sptarkov it is a million light year better than vanilla eft, the ai can be stank rat, gigachad or timmy as you set it. speaking of gigachad ai it will be exactly that fake grenade/healing sweep,/jump/taunt and all that gigachad supposed to do.

EFT screwed over the EOD player base when this new stuff should have been added to EOD accounts.

Can we please get rid of Scavs that instantly throw grenades like how players used to instantly throw grenades by only pressing G?
It's so annoying for them to run at you, power slide, and instantly throw a perfect grenade.
Also add armpit armor? I die to the worst rounds by one shot into the armpits like wtf. NIKITA PLS
I haven't died once to armpit hitbox since the latest update, all I get are neck/throat hits. If your still getting pitted you need to be wearing better armour.
Really hoping they add multicam and UCP PANTS. Idk why they'd ever have tops in those camos with no matching bottoms. Also, helmet covers when?

the newest update is 'copying' spt to the tee, bpts move together, loot (with a decision tree and scavs are less picky), extract, decide to camp, hide, W key to gunfight... etc
@@mnm8818 I mean why wouldn't they? If they want people to play THEIR game and PVE is popular, they have no choice but to either match or exceed SPT if putting dev time into PVE is going to be worth it for them. Pretty logical.

if i would have known they would add a quest to get bigger pockets in game, i never would have bought unheard edition. basically the only thing we get now is longer insurance time...
I don't think the problem is wether or not the pockets were free. I think the problem here is you spending your money too easily. Why the hell would you spend $100+ for pockets you can fit 2 ar mags in when you can buy cheap rigs or find them on scavs, which hold more and didn't cost irl money?

2 weeks of PvE brought me to the *real* moddable version and i am for real sad to say, that i won't come back until at least half of the 14 mods i installed (cleanups, QoL, AI etc.) will be part of live tarkov. Most of it is really UI and item interaction, nothing that breaks the immersion the game created or in raid mechanics. And that makes me really furious to see this game ignore the low hanging fruits of decluttering a still unique game that was failed to copy multiple times now.

I'll honestly never play PVE. The PVP experience is the only reason I play Tarkov outside of being able to set kit up that I actually own IRL. Something about PVE will always feel soulless to Me. I like to know I either outsmarted, outplayed or outmaneuvered an actual, thinking human being. I am probably the minority in that stance for sure.
You don't do any of those things. Either you die by desync or they do. Unless you've a 14 K/D you're an average player winning by exploiting the game's shortcomings.

AUDIO CHANGES PLEASE BSG! Reduce the Sound of the own PMC, maybe reduce it about 30 or 40%, the own sounds are too loud. It would benefit the movement and it would be so much better with only a small regulation. PLEAAAASE!

@RK-cw9qx ummm then please explain how I do it then lmfao. It's rather simple. And there's plenty of default devices that give default tunes. Like steel series sonar. Go XLR mixers/amps. Don't respond to things you have no knowledge about.
@RK-cw9qx ill give a quick breakdown. I'm assuming your young so you don't even know what an EQ is. Anyone over 30 knows what that is. So you take a frequency like footsteps and increase it. You take audio frequency like the wind and reduce it. Then with 7.1 surround sound, you reduce the output of a frontal speaker. As that's the audio that comes from your own character. And increase audio from surrounding speakers to amplify other audio. Pretty easy stuff tbh.
@RK-cw9qx u musta found out you were wrong. All good. Nit alot of people realize things you can do with a pc. Shit alot of people don't even instal drivers for the hardware they buy. It's all with learning. That's why some of us are here to help.
Do not buy PVE mode. Figure out SPT AKI. It can play it multiplayer with some effort and you can do practically anything in it. Do not give BSG money they do not deserve it
bro, they coded and developed this game since its been a baby, hell probably since YOU were a baby, for a decade now, holy shit. Like, clap your lips together in silence, they made the entire universe and story. They are dedicated developers with a clear and unique vision for their game, and that wont change because a clusterFK of bad marketing decisions.

Yup, Been playing SPT with Klean's modlist for like 2 weeks now and I'm actually addicted to Tarkov again. I setup a Zero To Hero run and with the SAIN AI mod I have no reason to play the live, cheater infested multiplayer EFT.
Nah pve already works fine and I play with my bros. Bought eod yrs ago. I'm using what I already bought. Fuck spt.
