TheLegend 27 From a person that is doing the leaving Cert this year in order to achieve a good leaving cert you must study every single night from now on don't wait till 2 months left to start studying because you'll be under a lot of exam pressure and that's the worst thing to be on because with all that pressure in your head you're not able to think straight which can result to stress making you to fail your exams, so please from one student to another study as best you can, get all the help you need, put in the work, Focus in class, study the extra Hour if you need to and give it 120% because this is an unforgettable opportunity to leave your mark and show your parents the people around you the work, hours and the sleepless nights you have put it because trust me it will all be worth it at the end:) The worst thing that could ever happen is your principal telling you on results that that you're "capable of doing better" so please give it your best shot👍 hopes this helped :)

+unaty gurung Hi Unaty! Fifth year is a really important year, its where the majority of your work for the LC gets covered. So my advice, study from the beginning. And no, you don't have to go to college straight away, a few of my friends took a year out to work, others did I plc to try out a course. If you don't get enough marks it not the end of the world, be smart filling out your cao and you will end up in a course you enjoy. You DO NOT have to do the LC again, just do a plc or start at a level 6/7 and make your way up to a level 8 (college). Don't worry too much about it now! Naoise, I was the exact same with Biology last year. I was actually heartbroken coming out of that exam but honestly just forget about it. I spent so many nights worrying about french and biology for nothing really. It's over now so just try and concentrate on the rest of the exams. Aw thank you, that is so kind of you. Eh to be honest, the LC was just a slightly scarier Junior Cert. I was very stressed coming up to the exams but once they started I wasn't too worried about it. At the end of the day, you get the results from the work you put in so you shouldn't be too disappointed. Best of luck in any exams you do in the future! 💜
