Gonna be honest , i watched a few videos on poe2 , but your videos are just to the fking point , without BS, advertising , talking about your cat etc. Appreciete it a lot my man! keep it up!
Clear and concise, thanks for the tips! Hope you make one about knowing what to keep vs. turn into currency. I always struggle with deciding when to use resources on items, if I don't have great gear it makes it harder to justify trying to improve it vs. finding something far better that makes the previous resource use feel wasted.
I'm glad you liked it! It may not be exactly what you're talking about, but I do have a similar video about what makes different kinds of gear good or bad here: th-cam.com/video/1atYoqH-aas/w-d-xo.html If you look at the examples of good gear that I give in that video, that's the kind of thing you would want to spend more resources improving. So if you identify a piece of gear that has already has a couple of good modifiers on it (spoiler alert: life/energy shield + resistances is what makes gear good), but it has room for more modifiers, then it wouldn't be a bad idea to use a couple of Exalted Orbs to try and hit more good modifiers. I'm considering making a video about the specific ways to use different currencies to improve your gear and when would be a good time for each method, but I'm working on some other videos and I haven't gotten to that one just yet.
Thank you for this! I spend tons of trips back to town b/c I pick up blues and above. But I’m thinking after this guidance I should just leave blues alone at this point (just getting to act 3…gear is mostly yellow). Will save me tons of time!
Happy to help! Picking up blues is perfectly fine early on, but yeah, the further you go the less helpful they get. That said, they're still useful at the Salvage Bench if they have quality and/or sockets!
How much gold is enough? I guess it depends on how often you play and how many characters you have. Respeccing can cost quite a lot, but once you hit around a million gold, you can chill and disenchant. One thing I do, mostly in the early game, is pick up everything I might want to craft on. For example, I tend to pick up boots because of the potential for +20 or higher movement speed. You can trade that stuff fairly easily. Anything with +3 or +4 to skills, put it up for sale. Learn as many items that sell for many exalts/chaos/div and it'll be slow learning at first, you'll soon spot the ones to never vendor.
This is kinda barebones because I kinda want to figure more out about the build before making a full guide, but here's where my character is at right now. maxroll.gg/poe2/planner/c930p0vx If you try it, I would highly recommend taking Witch Hunter instead of Gemling Legionnaire, because Gemling just takes so much more investment to really get working.
I've gotten plenty of useful and valuable items from reforging. Stuff that I'd be entirely unable to afford if I was looking to trade. It's just a numbers game. The more you do, the more you get

Im glad to hear you like the style! I'll do my best to keep making them that way. Thanks for watching!

Nice and clear ty - easy subscribe
I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for subbing!
I only do reforge on accessories and boots to 25/30 movement speed. Cause other part taking too much space.
@@leatherDarkhorse that's valid. I usually do jewelry and crossbows because Im too lazy to look for the rest of the bases lol
I haven't reforged much, but I'm pretty sure it takes the level of gear into account and the reroll will use the lowest level in the process
@@DeadByDeath that is correct. It's the same with rarity. If you use two rares and a magic item, the result will be magic.

This is good info. Thanks for sharing!
great one thanks
You're welcome!
Btw where can I find your build? Looks awesome, that's exactly how I wanted to play too, shatter + high velocity.
This is kinda barebones because I kinda want to figure more out about the build before making a full guide, but here's where my character is at right now.

@@Wilucco Awesome, thanks.
@@Rafalucija no problem!
Identify -> salvage -> disenchant -> sell -> deposit. I do thid every time.
I do this except I dump it all in my stash and wait for all of my tabs fill up with junk so I dont have to do it every time I go back to town lol
well reforging is uuseless i think. you wasting them for a bad item. you need to be toooooo luucky. just trade it with someone, its more prof

I definitely said a little more than just that, but go off
