Bg5 then the only square available for queen is Qf5 then white move is Bd3 the queen is trap. but if after Bg5 if black will response with Kf5 then the white queen will simply move to Qf4. again the black queen is trap..
Like in war, all the plans go to crap after the first combat contact. Then it is fighting for survival. That’s how I play chess. All the openings and strategies are academic when exchanging pieces comes fast and furious.
my piece of advice is that play long games so that you can think and remember the tips and apply. when you start out only play 15/10 or 30 up. only play 10 min if you are above high beginner
Just watched this video, and played a few 3m blitz with black using this opening, you were 100% right, players were confused and lost time trying to understand, and then the queen line on one side and the knight on the other had them shook! Thanks for the lesson; I'm not a fan of playing with black but this has increased my power quite a bit. =D
You explained the Czech and Pirc perfectly for me. I'm new to the game and almost overwhelmed at times with all the options and lines available to. I opted for a nice, solid and safe playstyle as black that doesn't involve too many risky moves, but also has some hidden tricks up its sleeve. Pirc/Czech seemed right up my alley. Thanks for the help!
Wow i just came across this video by scrolling around, and it simply kept my attention from start to end, right now i am a 1k rating player and i am simply stuck between going down to 950 and going up to 1050 and i am looking for ways to improve my chess. This video really light up my way of seeing other options. Thanks for sharing such nice content. Happy New Year from Portugal.
If you want to improve your chess. Always remember that chess is a game of pattern recognition, first and foremost. The same patterns repeat themselves in almost every chess game over and over again. I highly recommend a chess book called: "How to Beat Your Dad at Chess." This book should help you tremendously. You can buy the book through Amazon on Kindle or in print. My chess puzzle rating is about 1700.
I've been playing the Pirc for some time and have found the 150 Attack the most challenging with f3 preventing black's Knight hitting g4 and at the same time supporting the Pawn g4 advance. It is thematically somewhat like the Saemisch Attack against the Kings Indian Defence or the Velimirovic Attack against the Sicilian Dragon. One way to meet it is to play an early f7-f5 to bust open the center as the success of the 150 Attack (and the Saemisch) is often founded on creating a tight pawn blockade in the center with d4-d5 to meet black's e5 or c5. When you're facing the 150 Attack you don't have much time and have to launch a counterattack quickly before you're overrun on the kingside. All that said, I really do like the Pirc, though I tend to use other defences against 1.d4.
Thanks Sir for this pirc opening i was in search of opening to play as black & your video will help me i will definitely use this opening & let you know sir❤
My opponents don't like you. But I love you! You've helped me up my game so much. Loving chess now brother. I now have beaten Dash twice.. both with NO take backs. Keep the knowledge coming big guy!!
I've seen a lot of the perc defense as a low level player and it just allows very simple development with plenty of attacking chances for white. I can get an optimal setup and castle on either side of the board with d4, knights on c3 and f3, bishop e3 and covering the light squares aggressively with bishop c4 or playing solid with bishop e2. I create a fortress while getting my pieces active and then play chess. Pirc is by no means a sharp response to 1. e4 and I think that is why it is seldom seen in master level play.
Please make 4 to 5 separate video on how to play pirc against different variations played by opponent like australian attack or 150 attack or etc. please make full 8 to 10 min video on each variation. Here all variation under one video gets quite crumbled......a suggestion from my side.
The Pirc is especially useful if you like to invite your opponent to attack (I did face a lot of f4 playing the Pirc as black), in other words if you have confidence in your defensive skill and don't mind being on the ropes for a while. There are ways for white to move to a quick endgame, too, so it is recommended to study your endgames. 😎
I have been using this since my last tournament and it is very effective u know sometimes enemy got confuse about the moves he had to play and makes more and more blunders....
this was so helpful because I have trouble playing black because there's so many openings for white and I don't know how to respond. you taught me this opening as a counter. THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Puzzle answer: First Bg5 by white. Black's queen is forced to move to f5 as it is only safe square. Then Bd3 by white which traps the queen. Bishop is protected by the queen and so white will be up by a queen.
Good moves and we'll you're a good player I can say because of your moves we can detect your playing quality....but very minor blunders are there...have to be rectified because if the opponent is not so silly it has to be like Play with pan a but the real plan is b.... But thought it's good I've also learned some new moves in your video thank you....
Answer to the puzzle: Black queen has very less safe squares, so Bg5, queen has only one safe square Qf5 and then Bd3 and the black queen is trapped because of white's dominant bishops
The pirc is good because most players are not familiar with it, thank you for helping me raise my rating to 1700 elo, you are the best, am asking if you can make a video on the Catalan please
I can honestly say watching these videos have improved my chess gameplay so much I literally put my buddy in checkmate in like 4 moves for 3 games a few days ago

For the puzzle I think the best move is bishop to g5 pining his queen, if captures the knight you can take his queen

11:40 Bg5 Qf5 Bd3
Answer of the puzzle:
Bg5 let the only square left for the queen to move which is f5 and finally after Qf5, Bd3 traps the queen and white is winning.
You seems 1500 player
Then black queen can go to h5 right??
@@ramcharan5704 Nope. The bishop on g5 comes in between.
@Oisin Doyle yes I am also saying this
@@grenarygaming5205 iam 1600
Puzzle answer:
First Bg5 by white. Black's queen is forced to move to f5 as it is only safe square.
Then Bd3 by white which traps the queen. Bishop is protected by the queen and so white will be up by a queen.
What about the h5 square after bd3??
@@libinnp8386 queen can't go to h5 as Bishop is in the way at g5😊

Answer to the puzzle: Black queen has very less safe squares, so Bg5, queen has only one safe square Qf5 and then Bd3 and the black queen is trapped because of white's dominant bishops
Then black queen can go to h5 right??
No queen is on f5 and bishop on g5 so queen's path to h5 is blocked.
That's why queen is trapped
@@aaryanjohri8619 yes u r right 😅😅
What about if black move Nf5?
@@DavidfromMichigan Then I think queen to f4 😀
Sir thank u 😊
Wonderful video great job

Bishop to g5! ✨ That's actually an incredible move. Thank you for your videos!
Bg5 Qg6 or Qf5 and then Bd3.Thank You for this video.❤😊
Sorry I didn’t mean to write Qg6.But if black just plays it,then they should have took the bishop.😅😊❤😅😊❤
Czech defense ❤️
Solution:
1. Bg5, Kf5
2. Qf3, Qxg5/Qxf5 (only thing black can do to minimize the losses.
And then white captures the queen in return.
Bishop to g5 pinning the queen and knight? It just seems too obvious though. Black isn't really generating much threat from this position.
Then black queen can go to h5 right??
Black can attack the white queen too!
After Qf5 (her ONLY safe move) then Bd3 finishes her!
@@ramcharan5704 No. She’s not a N 😉!
@@stevenbryant4718 🤷🏻♂️ Not really. You mean Nf5? Then Qf4 leaves black Q no escape.

what chess app do you use
Qc7 is also in Scandinavian defence theory.
Bg5 is supposed to be the best move for the puzzle.
This pins the Queen and the Knight.
Of course white gets a free Knight after this move.
We can even get free queen after moving bishop to d3 as queen has only 1 safe square of f5
if black move kf5 there won't be free queen or free knight🤗🤗
Nicely done.
Excellent explanation!

Very good one
As a ordinary clubplayer I confirm this. Played this opening for 30 years and with considerable succes.
The move is bishop to b5 ataking to the queen and also devoleping the bishop and if queen move to other square then our bishop will take the knight.
Please make video of kinnegear trap
Was wondering why I was seeing this so much lately
10/10 video
Awesome lesson 👍👍🥳
Very good content thanks
White - Bg5 attacking the Queen
Black have to play Qf5 because it being the only safe square
White - Bd3 trapping the queen
When faced with d4, I play dutch defense(comfortable with it). Would you say it is a solid choice?
Which chess game are u playing bro .. Is it on play store ?
Anyone knows what to do if white pushes pawn e5 to threaten the knight at 3:06? The video didn't cover this variation. Knight e4 or pawn x e5???

Bishop to g5 and after queen move to f5 white play bishop to d3. Now queen trapped
Bishop h6 may be the best move as we can take queen
