    Man these things are rad. I always loved weird animals like this guy, axolotl, and pangolins. Unfortunately, they only seem so strange because they're so endangered, so we don't see them often. Weird is good!

    Need to stop over fishing our oceans with Giant nets, so many unwanted species end up dead and wasted because of it.

      It will rust completely into nothing in a few days salt water is extremely corrosive

      @@aideningram434 definitely not days. It takes a few months usually. Hooks aren't made out of mild steel. They're coated and hardened. Especially big game hooks meant for catching several hundred pound fish.

      When using carbon steel hooks they’re gone in 2 weeks. Stainless takes many many months. Studies suggest it doesn’t effect the animals feeding and a lot of the time the hook indeed can simple fall out. I’ve also heard it is much better than trying to remove a barbed hook as those can cause real trauma and infection.

    I love sawfish. Really interesting textured meat with good flavor. I just like to fillet and sautee it with some rice, maybe some broccoli.
