- What is the best pinball machine? In this series I take a look at my top 50 pinball flipper games and explain why I love them so much. In this episode I take a look at Cactus Canyon which was originally made my Pinball manufacturer Bally but has now been remade by Chicago Gaming Company.

Played Cactus Canyon when it was at Tilt in Birmingham. Great machine, so much fun.

Another great video. I know you said you were going to do a ‘greatest shots in pinball’ video at some point… I thought, how about a ‘greatest moments in pinball’ like the first time you see the trolls in MM, they are so well hidden I’ve had loads of people literaly jump out of their skin when they’ve come round and seen them for the first tine lol. The fan in Tommy. The zip line in Kiss. The helicopter in Rescue 911. Live and Let Die in Guns. In fact I might do one myself lol 👍🏻

I feel like you would love my living room. I have AFMr, CCr and MBr in my living room, as well as an original cabaret DK and a Popeye cocktail. Rush, AC/DC and Hulk are in the basement with the rest of the arcades.

Glad to see you appreciate this pin as well, I’m lucky enough to own an original as my only pin but the limited coding makes it something that would be better suited for a large collection. Although it’s a great game I feel modern rule sets would help increase home owner longevity
Have you heard of CCr topper issues? Early early ownership failures/malfunctions? I’m surprised MM is that low.. that game is epic but so are many others.
Gonzo any thoughts on Extreme cab VP ? I know it’s not true pinball, have you played one or the Ultra VP by chance?

I like CC but don’t like the pistols on the apron. Too much overhang on the PF.

I thought you'd put it third. Funnily enough, I'm not a great fan of Fish Tales - it's an interesting enough design, but the theme doesn't appeal to me.
Had CCR but in a very rare situation I was too good for the machine. When the new code comes out for Cactus Canyon. If you are able to play it. Would you re-review this
I can totally see that it would be too easy for a good player. As I said in the video, it's one of the few games I've completed.
