Kathy Charmaz was the foundation for my doctorate - love her narrative, thinking and perspective x Abductive reasoning is a genius conception. I had brief email exchange with Prof Charmaz - I loaded both barrels and defended my thesis with her wisdom. I understand she came under fire for writing style during her Masters degree - well, her writing is the most intelligent, accessible and coherent text I have ever read. 19:40 - I was dazzled by your work x a reformer of Grounded Theory.

By You Tube Airline, we were lucky to have lecture from the professor Chamaz,
many things are more clear than just reading her book.
Very satified ; thanks for today Technology.

Amazingly clear and helpful explanation of GT. Surely helped me overcome this learning curve into this analysis approach.

It would have been so much more helpful if the videographer would bring the slides into view when Kathy was talking about the content on them.

Great session, but the slides are too fast! Can we have a link to ppt slides too?

Watching this video is very frustrating. I would like to provide the link to it to the students in a seminar I teach, but as it is, I don't feel comfortable doing so.
To whoever edited this video: Could you please redo it and include all the ppt slides Dr Charmaz showed and referred to, or as Mark Carver wrote, could you please provide a link to the ppts? Thank you.

I respect Kathy Charmaz's approach to GT and would love to share this video with students. However, as in the previous comment, this video would require so much explanation because of the poor capture and editing, it would not be worth it! A pity.

This is an incredibly useful lecture and how wonder to hear from Kathy Charmaz. But the editing on this video is infuriating. When the professor is discussing a topic or explaining her presentation, why are we getting shots of the audience? Why only glances of the presentation?
