Any words or narrative I hear inside my head is not the Self is it? So how can I ever know when my speech is coming from who I really am ? this question is prompted by the initial interaction on this video, 'I' thought I sensed inauthentic speaking in some of the speakers, not paul.
You’re overthinking it, which is OK. Speech never comes from who you really are, it only comes from a body. You can never see, experience, or witness what you really are, because you are it. Try to see your own eyeball (without a mirror). It makes no sense. So instead what Paul teaches is to look at everything that you’re not. If it can be perceived, it is not what’s perceiving. So basically just shut up and watch what happens :)
Nothing you hear inside your head is coming from you really are. Communication from the Higher Power does not come in the form of thoughts/words. It speaks to our heart and we don't hear it in English. All of your thoughts are from the imposter/ego/self. That makes it easier to distinguish.
