- Tiny Glade is a small relaxing game about doodling castles. Explore gridless building chemistry, and watch the game carefully assemble every brick, pebble and plank. There's no management, combat, or wrong answers - just kick back and turn forgotten meadows into lovable dioramas.
What if you subscribed to this channel and help it grow? Haha, oh man - that would be HILARIOUS. 😂
🎉 Hope you enjoy!

This video perfectly showcases the beauty of this game. You start off thinking "ah there's not much to do and the demo space is pretty small so this'll be a short video", and then step by step you discover each of the little things you can do, resulting in a large, beautiful build within 20 minutes.
The path tool does provide steps up the side of rocks (in your case I think you needed to widen the path). Similarly, a path intersecting with the edge of a rampart does generate steps, but only up to a certain height. There currently doesn't seem to be a way to path from one rampart to another, but that'd be a cool future idea.
Suggest it to the devs on their channel. I dropped quite a few and they are so quick to respond and they seem keen to incorporate everything possible the game community wants.
OMG I can't believe I didn't notice/discover ramparts... I have missed so much!
Oh gosh, I want this game for the sounds alone 🥰 How fantastic are those? Your enthusiasm is contagious and you're very creative, such a cute little castle you made, would definitely watch you build more
Heather!! Thanks for making my day! I can't wait for this to release to I can dive head first in to the depths. The sounds are so satisfying, and remind you that you are a digital sculptor, so rewarding.
That looks like a gorgeous and relaxing game to let the creative juices flow. I'm gonna check it out.
It really is a get a cup of tea and relax on a rainy day kind of game, I can't wait for it to come out
Indie developers can make this in their bedrooms but the actual game engine companies can't figure out how to make simple level design tools like this.
it's SO true - I have NO idea why indie devs are running circles around triple and even QUADRUPLe (lol) A games. Manor lords, Space haven, this game, it's like... Are they just making it up at this point?
Very intuitive, so relaxed.
right? It's wildly well designed... can't WAIT for all the tools to be released on this one
You are not the only one who wants to pick the devs brains about the coding. Not only the coding but the planning process and work flow to get such a seamless build flow
YEAH! Like how do you even explain to another coder how you want the tools to behave? They have to be so in sync with each other to be able to put this together.
I've been eagerly awaiting this game . i cant wait for the full to come out. will likly spend ages playing htis little demmo
As a new discoverer of this game, I fully count myself among your number - VERY excited for the full release
I love your vibe and input! I haven't even thought of using this for d&d, but this could definitely be such a useful tool for stuff like that
Right?? Just being able to export a birds eye, or maybe a 3D map that the DM could reveal to you or something?
The wall looks like stop motion as it’s being dragged along. So cool
oh yeah! I hadn't noticed that, so coooool - such a great design choice
I suggested to them that they make an export feature but for their next game to be able to interior decorate your city/buildings. Also a tiny planet game!
omg yesss I love that idea - that would be out of control hahah - but it seems like something they could probably wrap their heads around!
Want this game so bad. The sounds, the visuals, so amazing. So chill.
It really is just what my heart health needs haha
I’m bummed you can only save your last three builds in the demo cause I’m on build number fifty at least 😊. So much fun. If you enjoy please join the community and trade building tips! There are hundreds of tricks so far to make cool builds and this is seriously the sweetest and cleverest gaming community I’ve been in.
Ooooh there's a Tiny Glade community? On discord? I love this. I feel I only started to scratch the surface of the possible building tricks that reveal new types/designs... so cool.
Yes we need a dnd support version. Roll 20 export would be so cool! ❤
omg YES - think of the LORE possibilities
I think what you were looking for is right click! Right clicking on something shows ALL controls for it including moving and height
ooooooooooooh my goodness, welp - back into the demo! haha
I believe it's using wave function collapse to procedurally generate stuff.
omg... quantum... physics?
Oskar Stålberg (Raw Fury) developed a few games based around wave function collapse (a.k.a. constraint solving) titled Townscaper and Bad North (the latter of which is a tight little RTS where you defend randomly generated islands from vikings -- there is a free demo on Steam worth checking out.) The basic idea of wave function collapse is when the game goes to draw a tile of the world (as in townscaper), it figures out what to draw based on what's around the tile. If you have a line of solid building alongside a line of sea, it will render a quay, for example. Oskar has made some videos showing how it works in Bad North that are interesting if you want to check it out. It ends up being similar to the marching cubes algorithm if you've ever done anything with that (also a fun thing to look up on youtube). Tiny Glade is doing more than just that obviously -- like when it draws those arches it looks like its doing a combination of stretching and tiling to fill in an entire section where wall intersects path, and it's not confined to cells of a grid but actual freeform shapes, which is wild. The result is really pretty, and it looks like it was really intuitive to work with.

This could be cool sandbox for ideas for like Vintage Story builds etc.
yessss, I think that's fully what I want to do now - just build a big ol' village
Have this in my wishlist for a bit now, the only thing stopping me is the lack of a goal in it. If various levels and building styles will be implemented, it will be a mustbuy, no combat needed, just something to work towards.
"How do I move this building?" It's Galacticare room moving all over again
Hahahah That will always stump me - As to the lack of goal, I feel you - but how bout I give you a goal - YOU AND I compete for the most intricate full village build. The winner gets the loser a Tesla. Vampy or Emma get to decide.
@@SolidContent Okay, I will send you a yellow Tesla, like the one I got sent by a canadian streamer who is bigger than Mr Beast.
Game is so awesome 👍🏻😎
This is great Your idea of learning cultures from their architectural vernacular is interesting I'm Scottish would this game allow me to build in the Scottish Vernacular IE the Scottish Baronial style Stepped Gables and the like I know it's onl a demo but the potential is enormous
OMg it would be so cool if there were some way to mod, or create DLC's to support the Devs, and then you could pick between Scottish Highlands, or Chinese architecture, or Ancient Greek or something! The possibilities are near endless. OMG, post apocalyptic, oooh or Cyberpunk.... GOD this could be huge.
Love the game. Can't stand the dual threaded conversation though.
"This would be great for... lets put doors here.... a school.... where are the stairs.... because they could learn.... oh lights I love that for me... design."
lmao wtf.
Haha I'm basically an i9, mad hyperthreading going on up in my videos
This is going to be a short 5 minute video he said.... 3 HOURS LATER... still building.... >_<
Hint: Use the square building without roofs to create thick walls.
ooooooooooh riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight, I could make thick walls that waay! Love this
impressive, very nice
now let's see p.....oops sorry wrong video 🤐
lolol
It was a five minute video. 5X5
agreed!
No combat? Welp, I'm out. Not my thing. I hope you have fun playing.
I totally get that! Sometimes it's just like... Sure it's nice, but does it WORK? Does it keep people SAFE? h
