double M brings back memories....if you ski in from the plateau behind then hike the ridge, there is a fantastic couloir in the middle to drop into, then a short run back into Claret. (one of hundreds of hors-pistes fun hits)
@ChasingSnow lots more ready to find ones as well... Like, go up to aguile Pearce, then continue hiking up the road/track in front of you when you get off the chair.... Ski down the opposite side after scrambling the top.... You are now in a massive offpiste terrain which naturally brings you back towards a piste after approx 30mins

Thanks for that info... hopefully I'll get a chance to do that this season as I'm looking for those off-piste trails....

@@markdormer7959 Cheers! One of my missions for this coming season, to discover these hidden trails... I think it will bring some awesome content...
When I get comfortable and more used to it, I'll maybe try that run myself, thou the Double M red is quite steep in parts.
Yes, Double M is quite wide, so you can ski across to take the steepness out...
I didn't know they did racing up there, it must take ages just for one run. and the run looks so different to mid season
I think it's just practice...
What skis are you using? Also love the Double M run back into Val Claret!
The skis are head kore 105s, this is a great run, wide and can get quite fast...
How do I contact you about skiing in leysin or glacier 3000 for next weekend?
