- Uchiha Obito is my favourite character in the entire series of Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. His story arc is the best story arc in any anime. He has the most tragic, saddest, and heartbroken story in the entire series; he suffers a lot; he has no parents, no master, and no friend; his love died in front of him; he only has darkness left inside for this dark world; there's nothing left in his heart after that. He lived the rest of his life behind the mask so that he could be acknowledged by this mad shinobi world. He wanted to create a peaceful world where nobody needed to suffer anymore for anything. In his entire life, he always loved only one girl, whose name was Rin Nohara. He wanted to fill the hole in his heart with that. He was an innocent boy who used to help old people; he wanted to become hokage (leader of his village) so that he could make peace out of war, but fate was not in his favor, and instead of it, he lost everything, even hope, and at last himself, but in the end he died a hero, sacrificing himself for the rest of the people. He always had a pure heart and soul, but he deviated from his path at a very young age due to the constant running circumstances around him.
Rin was his only hope in this Dark World When he lost Rin He lost Everything.

Naruto's side characters have more depth and emotion written into them than other anime's main protagonists have
One piece side character have more depth, in naruto only some like Obito have depth, others are abandoned in the story

@@godiloveminininjas4278 I never said one piece didn’t make amazing, side characters. there were some amazing side characters in Naruto that weren’t uchiha. hiruzen, tobirama, the great toad sages. the akastuki, and the summoning animals. All of them are amazing side characters. really the uchiha only have 3 non main, characters that are built on.

I used to think Obito was a simp but I understand him now. Rin was the person who truly believed in Obito and helped him in his darkest times. Heck she waited for Obito at the graduation when everyone left.

This is why I love this anime .Its not just about a hero and a villain but about how a broken hero of his own life can become a villain in vengeance . Every relation of a character with there comrades is different and unique in itself . Even Uchiha Madara had a bond with Hasirama Senju ( First Hokage ).

2. Killed many leaf people when he unleashed Kurama in Konoha that caused Minato/Kushina death and resulted to discrimination of Uchiha
3. Joined Itachi in the Uchiha massacre
4. Controlled the fourth Mizukage whose known to have a cruel and bloody reign
5. Eliminated the original members of Akatsuki when they tried to save Yahiko as Obito wants Nagato to feel pain in order to gain his trust

Do not even bother to mention that Obito is only Madara pawn since Madara was already dead when Obito did all those events. He did everything on his own. Obito never trusted Madara anyway and never planned to resurrect him.
