- TORSIONAL PENDULUM :
In torsional pendulum, an extended object is suspended at the centre by a light torsion wire. A torsion wire is essentially inextensible, but is free to twist about its axis. When the lower
end of the wire is rotated by a slight amount, the wire applies a restoring torque causing the
body to oscillate rotationally when released.

Thanks for this explanation
Glad it was helpful!
Tqs sir
Helped a lot... Thanku sir
Do subscribe and also see ray optics
That too might help
Thankyou sir 💕💙
I am happy u understood
Do subscribe
Thank you sir 🙏❤️
great video sir thank you
You are welcome
What is the role of mirror in the torsional pendulum (as it is mentioned in ug textbooks)
To measure angle of deflection
What is the value of 'I' coming?
Is it 25 * 10^(-5)?
Torsional pendulum is there in jee mains syllabus???? Plz answer
I don't think so
@@a.kzestos2085 then what it is??
yes it is there
@@physicsguru1 ok
Very nice bhut zabardast
Sir SHM or waves ko plz aik playlists bna k daal dy
Hai na playlist th-cam.com/play/PLkczDQRkJ0FeuF-y3Q1qdY3NpelzuZrKv.html
Nice
tnx
Can you please explain how it comes [α=-ω²θ]
Like a=-w2x replace linear terms by angular terms
I hope u got it
If know let me know ill explain in detail
Sir why acceleration is omega squared x??
you can watch the complete video or just skip to 29:00 th-cam.com/video/MgHiL-wrHWI/w-d-xo.html
@@physicsguru1 yes very intustic video but omega squared x is quite familiar it seems like the x component of centripetal acceleration. So are they correlated??? If yes then how sir.
Sum ka process batado sir
Can u elaborate what exactly u want
What about work sir due to this
Work method is different...we have solved using force torque method
