The chief/cortana dynamic is fantastic in that game and obviously Cortana's design is the best it's ever been (😏). Gameplay wise, I think the prometheans aren't very fun to fight, but the covenant are as fun to fight as ever. I just really don't like the art style of halo 4 and 5, I was really glad to see them return to the old one in infinite

Man, the inconsistencies in the appearance of Chief and Cortana in the data flashbacks absolutely sucked! Chief is wearing the wrong armor in basically all of them, And Cortana's appearance was unsurprisingly reconded. And they took a huge part of how they said goodbye in Halo 4 and cut it. So everything Chief said in that cutscene was nowhere to be heard, making the scene look awkward as Cortana looked like she was talking to a statue. It took a lot of the emotional value out of that moment and felt like it was done on purpose to make the new one at the End of Halo Infinite seem better. It wasn't. 343 Did not need to kill Cortana again.

Both artstyles are canon apparently, species have different races, there are different groups of forerunner architects, and how spartan armor looks depends on if Halsey has oversight (Halsey uses the classic armor look). Instead of completely overwriting Bungies artstyle like they did in Halo 4, instead what they did was just bring all those classic designs back, while still keeping what they did previously in the canon. Such as Lockes helmet being seen on Hyperius's shoulder, or Blue Teams new designs, but im sure when we see the Arbiter in game again, he'll probably be back in his classic armor.
