cant believe iv found this tune again what a piece of music reminds me of just leaving school an getting stoned, it was all so simple then lol Hear Tune
Great era!! Miss record shopping, raving and listening to pirate radio. So sad because people can't concentrate they are on their smart phones and unable to chill. This is from a past time of uninterrupted finesse. Big up!!
Subject always on my mind- what happened, certain individuals try to make the genre too big too soon? Either way I can’t help but think greed fucked the whole scene over.
Classy jungle breakbeat workout w/ mind meltin amenz!.wot happened to tracks like these?no drgz needed!!!but 90s N.Y.apples/doves/spilts took you even further :-)randAll Kenny Ken Nookie EllisD demolished my brain..peace from LSyDney!!
Jungle is still alive and breathing - i didnt realise at the time (90s) but Jungle will live on - i love this track, so musical. Is there a modern drum and bass track that stands up to this symphony?
Modern dnb is almost all shit, cheap build ups and awful farty thin basslines...bit check on the mist by damians ghost for some modern bukem type vibes
There is a long river in Africa called the River Niger. One would guess the title is alluding to it what with the African samples. Not sure if the misspelling is deliberate or if in fact there is a River Nijer somewhere
nookie never made a bad tune i swear!!!!!
Randall still rinses this in his sets!! Saw him drop it in Paris a few months ago… shaked down the whole place
Nice! Fabio dropped it in south London 3 weeks ago, and rewound it, what a moment, that opening B-line!!

did they just randomly call this song river Nijer or is the river Nijer an actual place with a story to it?
