    Just a layman question. Which lead is important to consider? Lead 3 looks like a mirror image.

    hi there , I wonder to ask about if I have case of DCM and it has AF just because the massive La and Ra enlargement, does Atenolol will be beneficial in that case over Diltiazem ? As you know DCM is a disease of systolic dysfunction and Atenolol will affect on the existing Systolic function . or I must use Atenolol just in case of stable or accepted LV systolic function.
    also I want to ask about the benefit of diltiazem in this case ?

      deltiazim is negative intrope so it slows the heart by decreasing influx of Ca

      Think about it....ecg lead placement requires direction and proportionality to the others. Would this change if you had the patient standing?

    How do you do CPR in an elephant? Simple, you ask an elephant to take the CPR certification course first and then have this elephant ready for action.
