Ive been to loads of concerts in my 67 years and I still rate Led Zeps concert as my favourite and life changing as a 14 year old in1972.🏴🏴🏴👍☮️😊😀🎸
There have been many great guitarists in rock but Page was of another substance. Perfect on recordings, spectacular live, always exciting and shocking. What the hell was in that head and in those fingers, God only knows.
Can you imagine how wild and powerful this must have sounded in the late 60s? No one sang like this at that time, to my knowledge. Of course the inspiration came from the Blues greats.
Well back then a lot of singers in the 60s and 70s weren't trained singers and if they were. They weren't trained as good as Robert Plant. Who used advanced techniques like mixed voice.
I saw Led Zeppelin 3 times in Seattle the last time right after the 4th album came out. That was probably the best concert I have ever been to. High on pot and acid, they blew me away!
My mother loved the classics and disliked all my tunes from the 50's 60's and 70's For some reason she liked this a whole lot though and kept asking me to play it again I can still see her dancing to this. Dance on mom!!!

1:54 the way he sings "home" as the guitar picks up gives me chills every time.
Unmatched. Music today doesnt come close. His VOICE!!! What is there to say.
Jimmy was a genius for taking Anne Bredon's song, and making the finger picking flow into a trance.
19 in 69 now 73 goosebumps then and now!!!!
I first heard this when I was 16. My favorite Zeppelin song. 46 years on 2:09-2:22 still gives me chills up my spine!
Yessss. Completely agree!!!!!!
Agreed
That wierd sound really really does the trick
2:22…. I die and come back to life, every single time I hear
When i was young ... hell, what sound was that??? Love it ... 66 now, and still in love! They were the greatest!!!
@@toniamsterdam3910 I’m 75 still in love 😍

What a voice my lord
Hello 👋🏼 Kathleen Carey
Best male vocalist in rock. Period
If I could only ever listen to one Led Zep song ever in my life again this would be it. Awesome base line from Jones, kick a$$ drums from Bonham, usual guitar brilliance from Page and the power and emotion in the vocals from Plant is out of this world. A masterpiece from start to finish!
One of the best love songs ever written
This is their most underrated song.
Actually this song is a cover.
Sel1m N You think I don’t know that?
@@michaelarojas it's not they're song
@@sel1mn477 they may have covered it but they made it sounds infinitely better
its funny how the trolls want to dis zepp, if you dont like it get the buck out of here. we know zepp didnt write this, they just made it a masterpiece period.
Nothing like a classic that brings back great memories, the world was such a different better place.
Aínda bem que ficou LED Zeppelin pra nunca esquecemos às memória ❤
One of my favorite Zep songs. I did hear this, in person, in 68-69. They were just starting out and were a warm up act. Except for Jimmy Page, no one knew who they were. That didn't last long because pretty soon, everyone knew who they were! I've seen all the greats in concert but this is the one i remember the most.
JIM MURRISON/RGE DOORS(RAY MANZAREK>JOHN DENSMORE & TONNY KREIGER AND ORIGIBAL " ALLMAN BRO> BAND)4X FOR DOORS{LAST MINUS JIM)< 2X A.BB(ORIGINAL DUANE , BASSIST RAY BARRY & 2 DRUMMERS)
Who were they warming up for?
@user-tl7dx9fo3n Vanilla Fudge Zep's first album hadn't been released yet. In an interview Carmine Appice, the drummer for Vanilla Fudge admits that Zep blew them away on that tour.
This song is B R I L L I A N T. No other words can describe it better. A true masterpiece.
My favorite Zepp song.
Jimmie, Jon, Jean Paul and Robert. 4 excellent lads who like to play. How wonderous their music is and how incredibly it has effected the lives of millions.
To each of you, where ever you are.
Thank you.
Each day we can share in the gift you have given us is a celebration day.

Led Zeppelin jsou a navždy budou to nejlepší co nám mohl hudební svět dát 👍🍀🏍️
The Sounds that shaped me…..Long Live Rock and Roll!
I listen to this all the time
With their mixture of acoustic and electric, Led Zeppelin were a major influence on the later fusion genre folk metal.
To put it simply, this is a masterpiece
My favorite part of the song is when he says babe
That's funny.Such a beautiful sad sounding song.I love it.
They don’t make masterpieces like this anymore
Now most music is garbage
True dat
@trustnoman What do you mean by this? As a black woman myself, you will be surprised that I too enjoy this music genre and other pieces too, I felt rather offended by your comment. But I respect your opinion as you are entitled to it.
demonstrably false
They don’t make music anymore
Один из величайших шедевров за всю историю рока!
I have been listening to Led Zeppelin for over 40 years and this is definitely better than most music made today.
Best rock n roll band ever
I was in high school when this album Zepplin I came out. Over the years I have come to realize this is one of the best total albums ever made. Zepplin two was right behind it
Ive been to loads of concerts in my 67 years and I still rate Led Zeps concert as my favourite and life changing as a 14 year old in1972.🏴🏴🏴👍☮️😊😀🎸
One of the best ever right here!
This song is incredible
The dislikes are from Babe and her friends.
John Byron;
Or maybe from people who don't like plagiarism 😏
@@manithor7572 Wasn't this one of the songs that was like actually original?
@@colebramante7433
Noooo, this is Joan Baez's song originally.
@@manithor7572 Oh lol guess I was thinking of the wrong song
that made me laugh out loud!!! hahaha
There have been many great guitarists in rock but Page was of another substance. Perfect on recordings, spectacular live, always exciting and shocking. What the hell was in that head and in those fingers, God only knows.
The vocal is simply the best over all times
perhaps the best melody in existence. the right amount of sad with the perfect amount of flow, like your upset and ready to leave
I've listened to this song about 5 times today. Can't get enough.
Can you imagine how wild and powerful this must have sounded in the late 60s? No one sang like this at that time, to my knowledge. Of course the inspiration came from the Blues greats.
It was, I was there. :)
It was the most powerful music we ever heard back then . We were all completely blown away!
I feel latin-Spain vibes more actually
Well back then a lot of singers in the 60s and 70s weren't trained singers and if they were. They weren't trained as good as Robert Plant. Who used advanced techniques like mixed voice.
Especially when we dropped Acid!
I saw Led Zeppelin 3 times in Seattle the last time right after the 4th album came out. That was probably the best concert I have ever been to. High on pot and acid, they blew me away!
Look, i just wanna hear this for the millionth time in 2024. Born 1961
Love Bonzo's drums simple yet on point and hammering hits. Perfection.
My mother loved the classics and disliked all my tunes from the 50's 60's and 70's For some reason she liked this a whole lot though and kept asking me to play it again I can still see her dancing to this. Dance on mom!!!
Treasure the moment brother 💪🏽
Brilliant…🏴
Awwwww Cool, Story Man !! ❤️
They still do a 💯
And They STILL,
Rock 🤘
Led Zeppelin is the Greatest Band in the History of Music.

Definitely in top three Holy Trinity of Rock is Beatles Stones Zeppelin
Plant's voice on this song is extraordinary, amazing!! On the whole album really.
No one could ever be this good... All respect ... Nothing but RESPECT!!!
