Haynes is a MUST. The only player Queensland had trouble against. He ran rings around the whole team like no other. A one man army. They literally had at least 2-3 players marking him. He won us that series in 2014 otherwise QLD would’ve won 12 straight. That would’ve meant me seeing NSW win for the first time in my school life I.e grade 12.
In the absence of a few key Qld players either ruled out to injury or coming back from injury. Not to a "one man army." Wally Lewis wasn't even a one man army
Brad Clyde was automatic 15M-20M every time. Great footballer. Not mentioned enough.

Well that’s a clear lack of knowledge. Ricky Stuart played 14 games for the blues and won 8 all at halfback. Andrew on the other hand played 16 games as a halfback and lost 7 and had 2 draws. He’s literally under 50% as a halfback in origin, and the myth he wore 9 but played halfback is an absolute joke, his test career playing hooker while langer wore the 7 shows that Joey played hooker when he was the 9. Watching the games show it too.
