12:41 Tqvm Stefan for the review of the expenditure for the various categories of yr stay in Hua Hin. It is definitely a helpfulninfo for those viewers who r interested to go to tat place. Looking forward to yr next video on yr next travel. Happy exploring!!! 👍🙏😍
My pleasure! Glad it was helpful. Of course budgeting is a very subjective thing but perhaps mine can give an indication for those willing to stay in Hua Hin for a while 😁
Great videos! and Info ! True and AIS for cell phone. The Google Translate works really well! I just noticed the camera feature - point camera at sign or restaurant menu and it translates it ! wow - also conversing into the cell phone to negotiate prices with bar girls too - lol. I watched your train ride from Bangkok to Hua Hin was good !
Thanks for this video Stefan. Very helpful. Only thing I would add for myself is the cost of exiting the country and returning to avoid over staying on the visa duration limit. I could be safe with a budget of 45,000THB/month.
@dalesmf4310 You're most welcome. Yes I can! The place is called The Room in Hua Hin and here is my condo tour video of it: th-cam.com/video/gjlS9bFZn1U/w-d-xo.html
I used to pay for health insurance when I travelled but now I have realized it's not the best choice for me. Just self insured for now. For example if you're from the US it might be a good idea to have health insurance for extra peace of mind. Thailand has high skilled and cheap healthcare though. So it's your chouce :)
For phone sim's on True 5G, got to 7-eleven and get the one with the white border "10Mbps | 30 " on WITHOUT THE ELEPHANT - it's 350B (bottom right corner) - The value one is a red leaflet style package with green at the bottom and is called the "seven" sim written in thai and 30d for 199b Both have the price on the front.
Your very welcome , i am coming to Thailand soon to see if i can retire there. Is there anyway i can have contact with you for direct information, thank you again !!
@@Hammocktraveller That sucks. A friend got sick in Bolivia, and they paid to get him into a hospital. Some countries won't admit you unless you pay up front.
Yes I mentioned health insurance at the end. That might be something you’d have to add some money in the budget for, depending on your case. Just stating what this past month looked like for me, to provide an example. A budget is a very subjective thing. As for visa right now I’m just on a free tourist visa 😁
Quite nice budget but this price for accomodation with power is hard to find in high season. Unless you are far from the sea. Also, when over 65 yo the insurance prices add a lot to the budget. 😢
I identified an area of the city that I enjoyed being in. Then I walked around to the juristic offices of my favorite buildings and asked around for tours. If you want, you can see the tour that I got for this condo building: th-cam.com/video/gjlS9bFZn1U/w-d-xo.html
@@dreamthread You're welcome. Thanks for commenting. And you're right, it does sound like I mean 6000 THB for a year when I listen to the video again. Meant to say per month.
Sorry I meant that the cheapest room types start at 6000 THB per month, provided that you sign a 12 month contract. So if you live there for a year, it could go as low as 6000 THB per month :)
hi Stefan i want to thank you for your last video on this apartment because of you i booked this place for 3 months !!!
I’m so happy you found a nice place to stay there 😁

Yup that is something I spend on as well. 45000THB seems like a sweet spot 🙏
Thanks for sharing, you mind sending info or mapping pin of the condo you chose? Name or anything so I can explore that condo area. Much appreciated.

Thank you for this / would you not include health insurance?

Hey Stefan. Can I ask what room type you have? I have type m booked for when I get down in january.
Hey! I think it's type A, a cheaper one. January is going to be great then :D
I've had good luck with Safety Wing, read the terms but it's pretty clear what you're getting!
Good to hear, Kevin! Thanks for the tips😁
Yeah.. easy to get in but they did not want to pay after my accident in a staircase, not droving or nothing. Stay away

@stefanexplores no worries, it sounds all very reasonable and I enjoy your laid back style of presentation 🙏

@@Hammocktraveller Yes that's true. Even when adding high season and extra insurance, Thailand is still very good value for the money :)
Im Happy for your channel 😊 Good Job Stefan hehe wheres next country?

Budget 400 a month, does that include rent
How did you find that condo?

A minute twenty two and no mention of the cost of living topic. Moving on..
Pretty sure the entire video was about the cost of living 🤔
That's all the talked about. Maybe cut back on the Adderal.
