very advanced stuff right here. I tried to the sweep on my dog, a mellow 130 lb bullmastif but even the k9 knew to sprawl in mid air so I couldn't control him. I either blame Glover or Porky my dog...cause it ain't my technique.
@@brassvulcher8207 It's probably easier to just google it. Just look up how to play youtube videos slow motion. TH-cam supports slower speeds at 75, 50, and 25%, and you can also speed up to 1.5x or 2x speed.
It’s only a reap if you overhook the foot on the same side, trapping the knee, you can scoop grip it or do whatever you want on the other foot, as per ibjjf rules, some refs will still dq you if they don’t understand the rules themselves, it’s sad.
Glad to see Jeff becoming such an articulate instructor. He has so much knowledge, it’s nice the world finally gets to experience it.
Beautifully explained and demonstrated. This entry was always tricky for me but certain details explained by Mr. Glover really hit home. Thank you.
Made me feel better. I'm a black belt too and it's really unintuitive to learn the cross ashi entry

“sprawling” was the original plan for having someone is in your butterfly guard. this technique is for when people don’t do that
I've been entering into the bear trap for years just ignoring cross ashi... Cause I didn't understand it. This is so simple. Thank you!
