- So I know that this one took a while, but I am finally back with my SH Figuarts Kaiju No. 8 Action Figure Review! This is a figure that I already knew I was going to be getting my hands on the moment It went up for pre-order. I absolutely love this character, love this series and I love this manga. I’ve been trying to tell people about this one for quite some, but I truly hope that it doesn’t take long for people to set their sights on it. Action figure is incredible for what it’s worth and I truly feel like Tamashii Nations put their all into it. I don’t think this is a figure that they threw together quickly because it seems to have all of the tinder, love and care as some of their better releases. He has drop down leg feature also theres 2 leg swivels, in order to make him split you gotta turn the first downwards then the 2nd upwards
His lower backplate also is on sliding mechanism, allowing you to get it up and out of the way for a backwards arch
I just got mine yesterday! A great figure the sound track when he powers up hypes me up I can rewatch that scene over and over!

When i first saw this character it reminded me of gillards jaw titan (my favorite titan design) at that point i knew i needed to watch the anime. Definitely gotta have this figure now

Maybe they could allow us to remove the 2 top back-spike to help the figure look up in future versions.

I love the manga, but this is one I'm not sure translates or isn't toyetic enough for me. Which sucks cause I'd really want the other characters especially Soshiro and Shinomiya. I'm not sure what's off to me or it could just be Kafka's design in general. I wonder if there's different teams in SHF because maybe Monster Arts would have been a better fit. Maybe someone else will take a crack like Amazing Yamaguchi that'll be more to my taste.
Maybe it’s because it’s lacking power up features and sparks? I think it would’ve benefited too with exaggerated body proportions to reflect his monstrous side; I’m sure Amazing Yamaguchi would’ve killed it, like what they did with Deku and Endeavor.
Maybe that's it. He's got a kinda tubular and gangly design
he looks awesome, I can't wait to get him or the figure-rise
I really like it but i preffer the broader chest and headsculpts on figure rise kaiju no.8

I like Kaiju no 8, been reading the manga for years but never really considered getting the figuarts, however, tamashii nations killed it and the price was too good to pass up on!

Finally got mine and love everything about him except 1 thing -- the toe hinges are really weak and it's almost impossible for me to have him get in any poses without falling over after a bit. Has anyone else had issues with weak toe hinges?
