William was absolute poetry in motion. He was one of the riders who showed us around on our first few newcomers' practice laps of Tandragee earlier that season, and when he came around behind me again and passed me, he swooped through the next two corners at light speed and vanished. I was awestruck by his speed and skill and, like you, so honoured to have shared that moment on the track in his company. RIP William, you'll never be forgotten.
My sons due date was the 7th and he was born on the 11th of July when William was laid to rest and it brings a tear to my eye when i think of it... Rest in peace William you are and always be the smoothest and cleanest to ride a 600
True that! Fingers crossed for Michael - I think this family has lost way more than their share, especially counting the skills shared between those riders ;( Knowing RR riders though, I would easily say they knew exactly what they were doing, and died doing what they loved. It kinda sounds poetic, but I can´t imagine how it would soften the blow on their families...
He was some bloke. I was absolutely devastated for his family, particular his wife with a young child and another on the way. I know i couldn’t be a road racer if i had children; i couldn’t bare it. They’re something else these boys.
Yes, it is hard to understand why he crashed on a straight like this. Also, he touched this grassy hill only in a shallow angle and still the force was massive enough to rip off his helmet.
his bike bottomed out at the compression in the road and took out the bottom of the sump. oil all over the back wheel, not a chance...it's a fast part of the track on a super bike!
@@pauloshea3741 still in shock but will share a video of the crash, also this clip is on a 600 as stated,he lost his life off the 1000cc machine, severe lack of respect sharing this video around..

Thought i heard the drain bolt for the engine oil had backed/fell out.

1:41 is this where his bike was repeatedly bottoming? Caused an oil spill onto his rear tyre and that was it
Your the man !!🤩🤩🤩
How do you get a camera like this? That shows the speed

Why the hell are there what looks like concrete barriers in the middle of the road near the end of the video.
It's a chicane to slow you down, not concrete, they are a soft/light material
exactly what i was thinking.. how the hell am i supposed to see that coming on youtube screen going at those speed?
1:45 the place where William has died :(
Wow, his last few minutes.....

Racing on rural roads isn't a great idea.
Living in the city is more dangerous. Give your nuts a tug
@@mauser8515 I don't live in the city. And i don't have nuts.
@@TweedSuit Excellent, and I’m sorry for your loss.
@@mauser8515 thank you. And enjoy tugging your nuts.
