20365 (1 person)
10000-18000 (1-yr tuition)
3500 (ticket, books, misc)
Total = 42000 (average 1 year)
Double this amount if it is a 2-yr program. Attend an inexpensive school if you want to reduce this amount.

I landed canada in December of last year, was jobless till may and started working in june but was getting only 20 hours. I was supposed to pay my fees in august which was impossible so my parents helped me in paying the fees . It has been a bad experience for me till now and I REGRET COMING TO CANADA 👍

You came to study not to work. You came on study permit and not work. Then why do you regret. You regret because you have to legit study and not work. You shouldn’t have come here.
We should be like usa and only allow limited study only and no pr or citizenship only maybe work visa based on single company
IRCC conducted 4 consecutive Express Entry draws this week so far:
21 Dec - Agriculature EE Draw - 400 people invited with CRS cutoff at 386.
20 Dec - Transport EE Draw - 670 people invited with CRS cutoff at 435.
19 Dec - Trade EE Draw - 1000 people invited with CRS cutoff at 425.
18 Dec - General EE Draw - 1325 people invited with CRS cutoff at 542.
Owner issues are a massive problem everywhere. I am in London. My first owner used to stop me from doing everything starting from cooking every day, using the washing machine using electric.Part time jobs are a challenge everywhere.

Right now you have to be lucky to get a job and I mean super lucky so for now do your degree from India enjoy bachelor life uske baad aa jao majdoori karne. :)
And Han I am already in canada sept intake wala hu and if you are not present in canada before 7 dec you cannot work full time ye bhi yad rakhna.

Rather than coming to Canada on study visa, it is 100 times better to complete your graduation get some work experience and apply directly for PR, is better and cheaper option. Else be ready to struggle for long time. Come only if you are mentally strong and stubborn.

I heard there is bed shifts for rent. A person has to get off the bed and leave at a certain time so someone else can sleep in the bed.
My dentist in India makes 40K INR / day. I don’t think it is too far from around 1000 Canadian dollars one might earn as dentist a day. Respect is 10X times more too. My doc friends in India has almost visited same set of countries 40+ in last 20 years as me. So it should not be an issue in India too for medicos.

A small update on this comment. It's been little more than a month and I found a job.
@@UltimateGuruGaming Valuable suggestion is to go for Masters instead of getting in diploma course. Spend a little more to get yourself a master's you won't regret it either!!!

Actually, I have a question. My sister plans to come to Canada after completing a four-year BSc in nursing. After nursing, she should come to Canada in 2024, or not. Would you please create a video about this? 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
She can enroll in a 2-yr Master degree in nursing. Some (not all) universities want clinical experience for admission. You can compare tuitions. Tuition of Memorial University of Newfoundland looks reasonable. After graduation, she needs to study and pass NCLEX exam to obtain provincial RN license.
Else, she can work as RN in India for a while. Then apply to Canada via Express Entry (federal skilled Worker). In May, NSCN (Nova Scotia College of Nursing) waived NNAS (National Nursing Assessment Service) for Indian nurses currently in practice and in good standing. Accepted applicants need to pass NCLEX exam and IELTS to receive NS nursing license. NSCN does not deal with immigration.
Getting a dental license here is not easy the qualifying exams are very tough and seats are limited.
I applied to Fanshawe college in London and the course is Civil engineering technology. Is anyone else applying to Fanshawe for Fall 2024 intake?
"22300 - Civil Engineering Technologists and Technicians" is not a prioritized STEM occupation announced by IRCC in 2023. It does not qualify for STEM category Express Entry draws with lower CRS cutoffs. It qualifies for general Express Entry draws with very high CRS cutoffs (500 and above). You best bet is PNP. Ontario PNP (OINP) is harder than other provinces' PNPs.

@@udaysenareddysappidi None of them falls under STEM prioritized occupations. You might find them in some PNP streams. I heard that some geologists are unemployed in Alberta.

If students work long hours when do they get the time to study?
They either fail the class or have poor grades. Low CGPA means no interviews for full-time professional jobs after graduation.

Does it require the double amount of GIC (which is $20,635 X 2 = $41,270) for a 2-year program in Canada in the new rules for GIC which will be implemented from January 1, 2024?
Ideally, yes. Some consultants are suggesting 1+1 programs so you can produce less fund upfront.
Don't forget tuition, ticket, books, and misc.

According to news we have listened, if a student comes in sep 2024 intake for two year course after +2.. would he get work permit after completing his studies or not..

If you study 2 years in a DLI (designated learning institute) and the program is PGWP-eligible, then you can apply for 3-yr PGWP after graudation.

Sat sri akal ji.. My son is doing biomedical engineering in McGill University.. For his internship will he need separate work permit?? If yes how to apply?
Quebec has its own immigration rules. Normally, a study permit is issued at the airport allowing him to work on-campus and off-campus. He can work up to 20 hrs a week while studying; and full-time during scheduled breaks. After graduation from his Bachelor degree, he can apply for 3-yr PGWP (postgraduate work permit). If he does not speak French, my recommendation is for him to find a job in another province because Quebec's Professional Engineer licensure requires him to pass a French language test. McGill is under pressure from Quebec government: 80% of its graduates need to have intermediate level French proficiency. Maybe your son can master French during his studies.
PS. If he applied for his study permit before 7th Dec 2023, he can work full-time from school start date to 30th April 2024. However, McGill's engineering course load and assignments can be overwhelming.

Please can you clear my one doubt. I have a bachelor degree from India and did my one year pg diploma in Canada. So while filling my PR file I am confuse what should I choose in my highest studies bachelor or two or more certificates?
Two or more certificates. It means at least one of the two has to be 3 or more years of studies, which is your bachelors degree from India. 😊

@@asianmart7122 The order is as follows: (1) Master (2) PG Diploma (3) Bachelor Degree (4) College Diploma (4) Certificate. Your PG Diploma is supposed to be your highest education.

Many came to Canada for nothing. The successful stories are those with connection (family and friends); with jobs waiting for them before even landed in Canada. Some employers and agents are asking for thousands of dollars for LMIA; it is called exploitation which is illegal.

Italy wants you to speak Italian. In Alberta, people speaks English. If you get PNP, you are almost certain to get PR. Rent in Calgary is expensive; followed by Edmonton. Canadian winter is something else so be prepared for the long winter.

BC is the only province with Associate degrees. It is equivalent to a 2-yr college diploma in Ontario.

@@harpreetsingh6819 Some nurses (new immigrants) working in Toronto hospitals don't undertand English well so they simply ignore their patients. That is why Manitoba wants to have an English language test for all their nurses including those Canadian born ones; the province does not want to have the apperance of discrimination.
