You Yorkshire girls should have a ride over market weighton hill to bishop Burton village and head to wards Beverley west wood and take a stop in Beverley and go into the north bar hotel And book your rooms and enjoy the food Beverley people love you motor bikers
I always love just how excited Kate gets each time she gets a wave back 🙂 (When I first started riding back in the early 90s you would always get them from every rider)
Kate i just love your enthusiasm about this country so many these days think going abroad is the bee's knees and have never visited so many fabulous places at home. Visited all the places you went to but always on business and always in the car nowhere near as good as on the bike and to top it all a fantastic fry up for your breakfast. Great video bring on part 3.
Just this minute I texted a friend complaining that unless you’re retired (I’m not) we seem to get about 6 dry days a year to ride. That’s the problem with the UK. Need a wet-only steed!
Yes, the A68 down from Carter Bar into Northumberland then veering on to Rothbury is an epic ride on two wheels. One of the UK's best motorcycle roads, however, is back over Cater Bar, and west, (A6088/B6357) skirting the border and coming back into Nothumberland at Kielder. I have it up on my channel, but my cheap sports cam doesn't do it justice. Good reason for you to come back to Northumberland for another visit 🙂
A good tip for any biker riding over to Holy Island - after the tide has gone out wait until the causeway has dried completely. Back in the early 90's i made the mistake of riding my Honda Goldwing across to the island when the surface of the causeway was still wet in places and the underside of the bike got sprayed with corrosive salty sea water.
Hi Kate.. and Lilly, smashing episode. I love watching your shenanigans, it’s a road trip but without ego. Nice to see you at the ABR festival too. Do you still have the photo you took of Paul and me by any chance?😁😁🤞🏻
Great trip in my adopted home county of Northumberland!......Lovely little town is Rothbury, I have friends who live there. (btw..Jedburgh is pronounced similar to Edinburgh ;-)
Stayed in Bamburgh and visited Holy Island a few years ago, it's a spectacular part of the world. I really should get up there on the bike, I forgot how good the roads are!
Hi kate and Lillie, great video ! Northumberland looks good 👍, nice scenery and nice weather, you are a tease eating ice cream 🍦 and later sticky toffee pudding and custard 🍮 😋, shame you met 2 Richard heads, one in the black car pulled straight out in front of Lillie and the BMW keeping Britain untidy ! Safe riding kate and Lillie, Best wishes Roy 😊 .
You are wonderfully entertaining, Kate, and the views are as stunning as you so joyfully, and giddily exclaim! AND, you are riding a bike I hope to own one day, so it’s a pleasure to explore with ya! I already watched your review of the Ninja ( twice, and thank you!;), and that video brought me to this series of videos. You’re doing excellent, so much continued success to you and your channel! Cheers!
Another great video up my neck of the woods, In Seahouses you can park bikes on the pavement in from of the public toilets on the Main Street. Looking forward to the next one 👍🏻
Went to Lindisfarne a few years back and ended up with a Mead Hangover. The worst kind of hangover, a mediaeval hangover. More a Kipper man myself. Craster and Seahouses are Northumbrian Kipper destinations. Couldn`t get the cat away from the bike for days.
Glad you went to Holy Island and didn’t get stranded by the tide, nice to see you lovely ladies enjoying Northumberland, we’re blessed living here👍😎🏍 PS. I’d have a word with the twat in the BMW.
Kate love that hold brake i keep forgetring to put in gear nearly rolled forward still not dropped my motorcycle i shouldn’t of said that lol ride safe its nice seeing you with your best freind brings me memories back 😇
Lovely part of the UK. Was up there a couple of weeks ago. Rode the Kielder Forest Road... really good fun and spectacular scenery. You need to get back up there with Bertha! 😁👍
Glad I'm not the only one who hates people who litter from cars! I own a Ninja 1000sx how did you enjoy it? Looks like that one has the touring screen on which I took off and put the standard one on as it creates a lot of wind noise.
Somehow fell in at 0:29 min. Heard the panting and thought for a moment you where greenlaning again. Seriously! We all have our UsernameKate trauma’s. Some are connected with tents. Some not! 😂
Another cracking fun video Kate. Lots of fantastic views including some Vidal Sassoon cows. Brilliant! I envy you riding some roads with epic views and all the tourists turning up to meet the famous biker ladies at Alnwick castle was fun. I look forward to the next one.
You rode past my parents house a couple of times in your efforts to find The Haven guest house and then again when you left! Rothbury chippy is good, we really like their chips!!
If you had gone to Rothbury on a Sunday you would have found it over run by Bikes! It is a regular go to spot around here! I live just south of Morpeth so have been around these roads many times!!
What a fun weekend for you two. I'm surprised that no "fluffy blow dried cattle" pictures were inserted. This is just fun and relaxing to watch. Glad your having fun on the Ninja (Versys 650 is one of my rides here). The food looked divine ...but its not even breakfast time here.
and here it is..., the long awaited follow up to Part 1... at last !! Sincerely hoping we'll get another 3 or 4 episodes from here, for me it's as close to heaven as one can get. I adore wide open spaces in nature, with no visible civilization, so i'm definately in the wrong place, here all cramped up in and amongst the Swiss Alps ☹, stupid me! Was just gonna clip ya knuckles for calling that an Observatory, but you corrected yourself just in time😊. You (surprisingly) missed out the very imposing Bamburgh Castle, the old home of the King of Northumbria. The admission price is OK and the experience Epic. The gigantic castle sits right on the sea and is visible from miles away..., they do excellent Ice Cream there to (if you don't mind queing). There seems to be something about those BMW drivers/riders..., a right bunch of "quacks"🤔 Just one regret about this video Miss UNK, it's a pity you had to distort the beautiful isle views with the stupid 360°. Yes there is a large number of us that hate them cams, coz of the way people think they have to use them, so, i'll clip ya knuckles for that, and hope you learn yer lesson!! Anyway, seeing is believing and cannot be conveyed on a camera, like it's seen with your own eyes... am I right Kate? See ya in the next instalment......
Hi again, Surprised you could not get parked in Seahouses there is a big car park off the roundabout in the middle of the town? Never mind, There is also a nice curvy road from Seahouses back down the coast aptly named THE COASTAL ROUTE, It goes past ALNMOUTH and through WARKWORTH home of Harry Hotspurs castle, Then AMBLE with further down a quick detour takes you down to the seaside village of CRESSWELL and it's glorious golden sands of Druridge Bay! Stunning views all the way!!!
Great weather for a ride, beautiful scenery. And were those show tunes? Sweeney Todd, at the end? LOL! How many hours of riding per day did you put in? Just wondering what can be done as you seem to have nicely balanced the riding with enjoying the local life on country roads.
Love the videos girls , but for Gods sake stop 😂😂showing how stunning Northumberland is🤬it’s my home county and the roads and scenery as you have found out are breath taking. Some of my family originate from Beadnell and Craster. In my late teens we used to go to Lindisfarne on my kettle and stay a full tide, fantastic when all the cagers have gone. All joking aside pleased you enjoyed your time up here .
Thank you for pronouncing Alnwick correctly 🎉❤ I sometimes scuba dive at beadnell 😊 Seahouses is where the Great North Bike ride starts and ends at Tynemouth 🚴🏽♀️

Hi Kate, brilliant vlog yet again. Having done the 250 a few weeks back it brought back happy memories. Thinking of getting a camera just for my use, what would you recommend. Xx
It's a big shame you haven't got an intercom system set up for you and Lillie... not constant chatter, which could be a distraction for you both but for those low-speed bits at destinations.
