Brilliant to see "My Tram" - Leeds 301 preserved, albeit in its former London Number 1 livery. It was a good day whenever 301 turned up to take me to school in Roundhay! Saw it at Crich a long time ago and could not believe my luck! Thanks to all.
Another excellent collection of shots Joseph and with some very nice angles being different from the norm. Thanks for posting...................Cheers Phil.
Hi Nathan. Thanks for that. Had a great weekend, Crich in the morning, Kirklees in the afternoon and Ribble on the Sunday, which is why we couldn't get to Apedale. Hope it went well for you. Regards Joseph
+MonopodMan: Heartiest congratulations on two counts, first these fascinating specimens of tramcars, and second, on the way you put this video together. GREAT WORK!
I love that little electric loco. What a magnificent livery on the London United one. Blackpool 630 looks very smart as well. let's hope 762 is the next to be repainted ...
Hi, sorry about the delay in replying. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment and for the information. It was a great event. There were some excellent looking trams. Regards Joseph
Hi Andrei. This was a great event. Loads of trams looking superb and a good variety in service. From a video point of view we ended up with 39 minutes and loads of pictures so this video is a shortened version to show an example of what we saw rather than just the best bits. That 762 looks a big tram in that location. Don't know what livery it will get. Regards Joseph
Hi Tommy. What a fantastic day. You went to the Glasgow theme last year and that looked great as well. Shame its a long way for us to get there otherwise we would go more regular. Regards Joseph
Those double-decker trams fascinate me! I've only ever seen double-decker buses here in Australia, they used to run in Newcastle(after the tramway was closed in 1950) but even they disappeared off our streets by 1975. No city in Australia that had, or still has a tramway, or is even reintroducing them, has ever had a fleet of double-decker trams. They may even be unique to Britain!
Hi Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.I don't think anybody makes new double deck trams anymore because of access problems. I think they still use double deck trams in Hong Kong.regards Joseph
Yes, Joseph, now you mention it, I have seen double-decker trams in Hong Kong, and in other parts of Asia as well, at a guess...... and here was I giving England kudus for uniqueness and you've gone and blown it! LOL
Hi Phil. It was a great day but its a bit too far to go regular. There was so much to film. it was hard to decide what to leave out for this TH-cam video. Regards Joseph
thanks for preserving these machines .
Coś pięknego , byłem tam . Na prawdę warto zobaczyć na własne oczy . Przenosisz się w inną epokę . Serdecznie wszystkich pozdrawiam .
