Any reference on where you learned to throw higher? All my shots are low but very consistent. I don't know how to throw higher without it being nose up
One thing that helped me, which seems counterintuitive, is try thinking about your reach back being low and your release being higher. So when you go back try to put the disc lower then what your release point will be. As long as you have a good grip on the disc it should come out going slightly up but still nose down.
@@PartTimeDiscGolf parting line height. Its very noticable in Innova Destroyer runs because someone did a legit test with data from different destroyer runs that went super in depth about how parting line height, disc dome, and wing angle degree affect a discs over/understability from new. It's wild but definately a worth a watch if you bag destroyers.
I started playing discgolf this summer. And one thing i dont understand, is why every yt discgolfer says that a mega overstable disc is stable. Isnt a stable disc straight? 🤔
Technically yes. The terms Understable, Stable and Overstable would be accurate, but we also use Understable, Nuetral and Overstable. When a disc is more Overstable than another disc we also say it is more stable. So if one run of a disc is nuetral and the next run of a disc is Overstable, we usually say the Overstable run is more stable. I know it can be confusing. Stable and overstable sometimes are the same term used to mean more Overstable.
There is just alot of bad terminology i disc golf. Many people also call anhyzer shots for turn over shots. In my mind anhyzer shots is something released on the anhyzer angle and turn over shots is something release on hyzer or flat and then it turns over onto the anyhyzer angle. One shots is turning right from the go, the other a bit straigth then turning right.
How grippy the plastic is? I have a couple MVP glow discs which are otherwise great but they are a lot more slippery than for example Innova Star or DM S-line which is a bummer.
I have a 154 grain fission time lapse and its one of my favorite understable drivers.
They are so good. Go really far.
Ty so much! My Fission Time-lapse 158g is a hyzrr flip Sorcerer
Oh yeah!
Are you 5'5 with brown eyes? Smile like the sunrise😂😂
Great comp to showcase the difference between the two plastics on similar angles. The 157-163g ones are going to have some touchy distance potential!
Heck yeah!

I am a noodle arm. My lightest disc is a 148g Katana. However, I need full weight discs when I throw sidearm. I can toss a Destroyer about 300
Nice. Give this one a shot. I think you may find some extra distance with this.
This looks like a nice reliable disc for those tailwinds!
Yes. I feel a little bit heavier one could hold up to the head winds too. Would be nice to test out a 167 vs 175.
I've got two in the mail to pick up today. Hopefully I can throw them as well😂
Awesome, let me know how it goes.
Would love to be able to compare a stack of these for low PLH.
What’s PLH?
@@PartTimeDiscGolf Parting line height. A measure of how low the wing is. Low = under stable.

Haha this great and so relatable ! Awesome content
Thanks. I appreciate it.
try the fission octan as well; i think you will like cheers mate!
SToked to get my fission time lapse in!
I think you will like it.
The halo destroyer is like that. I give it 12/5/0/5 haha and I have decent power too.
😂 nice!
Halo Destroyer is my go-to for my poor form pullover forehand!

I think it feels great. Nice and grippy like most of the MVP stuff.
i have similar armspeed to you and found an available 161g timelapse for sale. Do you think it'll be too light?
No way! Grab it. Great flip-up distance bomber.
Yes!!!!!
It’s a good one.
Great review! If I don't see you Happy Father's Day 🎉
I appreciate it. Thanks brother!
100 foot difference is insane
I couldn’t believe it either. But that neutron one was soooo beefy it makes sense.
so good
Yes it is.
Was that your first time breaking 400?
We have almost identical arm speeds. My Udisc max is 371 flat, I have to grab one and try it.
400 is my Max. With that said, this 400 seemed much easier than in the past. This TL just wants to go.
